You've destroyed our club
Dear Mr Levy,
Thank you.
Thank you for completing me. I was a straitjacket short of a padded cell. But now I have it all. There’s even a little foam on the corner of my mouth. So thank you for my current state of mind, a consequence of you systematically dismantling the great club that Harry Redknapp built with his bare hands. Thank you for this empire of dirt, these ashes in a broken urn you have left for myself and my brethren to mourn over. Thank you for the cataclysm. Please send in the doctors. Order me a lobotomy, save me from witnessing further disgrace. Any minute now, Keith Burkinshaw will appear as a vision to remind me that there was once a football club here. You’ve managed to reanimate the dead after the wilderness of the 1990s only to bury it alive. You are accountable for this shambolic mess. But it’s okay, it’s of no major personal concern to you. It's all gone wrong so you can easily point the blame at the fall guy you’ve appointed in place of Harry then hire the next mug in or simply beg Redknapp to return to fix this crisis.
You didn't back Villas-Boas on purpose which means your failure is really a clever little escape clause. I know your game. Waiting until the final day to do business because you know how improbable it is to get the job done so late in the transfer window. You signed Dempsey because you knew Moutinho wouldn’t happen. Why would it when there are so many complexities involved in his transfer? So many that a day’s worth of hard graft was nigh impossible to iron them all out. He was Villas-Boas number one target and you purposely side-stepped it so that the money from the Luka Modric transfer can sit in that diamond encrusted shoe box under your bed. Hugo Lloris, another mastermind manoeuvre although you seem to have ballsed this one up. The player actually signed in the end, even with your attempts to stall and change the offer made to Lyon during negotiations. How dare you show such contempt for opposing clubs, a blatant reluctance to play into their hands and accept their demands over your own? Who the hell do you think you are? Shameful you are representative of THFC. How dare you cater for your own interests, nursing your agendas. You make my skin crawl.
Where was the £30M bid for Falcao? Llorente? Leandro? You were too busy pushing out club legend Rafa van der Vaart and failing to match valuations for our other alleged targets. You know the ones, refresh NewsNow or tune into Sky Sports News, they had a long list of them. Oh but wait, you signed Dembele. Whoop de doo. Let’s raid Fulham and it will be a-okay. In January we should look at pillaging Reading and if we’re feeling really really ambitious we can swagger on up to Anfield and pluck some of their gems.
We’re really aiming high aren’t we? If it was up to you Dawson, Defoe and Huddlestone would have been thrown onto the scrap-heap alongside Ledley King, cruelly casted out whilst you allow ex-gooners like Adebayor get richer at the cost of hiking up our season tickets. Oh wait, newsflash, you've improved the catering at White Hart Lane. Well that's okay then. At least we won't cry our eyes out at the disarray on the pitch on empty stomachs. To add further insult to injury we are now that little club in England that Jose can tap up if he wants something new for his big team in Madrid. Should I burn my Gareth Bale shirt now or wait until his transfer is confirmed next summer? I just can't get over this transfer window and your last minute attempts at signing players. Do you set your alarm to go off on the last day of August as a reminder to do some business? But it's all good isn't it? Because you can now swap Panini stickers with Florentino Pérez and share up-skirt pictures via instant messenger. He looks the type.
I’m furious.
There used to be a football club here...
You have once more screwed this club over. Selling off players along with that aforementioned refusal to meet the demands of other chairman, preferring instead to bully and play with them until they are tearful and broken. You need to consider other people’s feelings, our feelings, and stop being so self-absorbed on this ‘project’ you seem to be running into the North London ground. We’ve got money, I know we have. We sold Modric, so splash it around a bit. You saving it for a rainy day? We’re rich. That bloke who lives out in the Bahamas, he’s a billionaire God damn it.
We should be signing Champions League quality players and paying them a kings ransom to wear our shirt. But oh no, God forbid you speculate to accumulate. Let me guess, boo hoo, we need money for the stadium. Bore off. What stadium? You think a bit of scaffolding and cement mixers can fool me?
As for Villas-Boas, you've out done yourself there. The closest he ever got to playing football was reading a book about it and learning tactics and formation on a computer. He shouldn't be managing a Sunday league club let alone us. He's a researcher at best. Who's next in line? Anthony Costa? We never played this poorly under Redknapp. I refuse to give him a chance, I simply refuse. Anything below 4th is a disgrace and we're currently 14th. Unacceptable and believe me I'm being patient here. I was patient on Saturday against Norwich. I didn't start to abuse the manager until late on. I waited until the 15th minute. This isn't a transition, it's a crisis!
I've been a supporter for decades but I will never set foot back into White Hart Lane again until you are removed and gone. Okay, granted, the restraining order doesn't allow me within a mile of the stadium, but my disdain will see me boycott EA Sports games and not purchase any Under Armour gear. Apart from one of the white training tops which looks spiffing. So have some of that corporate Tottenham.
The points lost at the start of the season because of your reluctance to do business early and get in the players to replace the departing ones have cost us any chance of finishing top four. Our season is OVER. Have you looked at the table? MIND THE GAPS. Plural, that's plural.
You have sold our soul to the devil, then nicked it back, then sold it back to us only to then take a reward from the devil when pointing him in the direction of his stolen property. This, this ugly abomination of a club is what you've birthed from your greed and self-absorption. I am Gregory Peck in The Omen when he digs up that coffin in the ruined cemetery to find a jackal's skeleton in Damien's mother's grave. I'm Gregory f**king Peck! You've turned us all into Gregory Peck!
I hope you like the number ten. It’s not a shirt number Daniel. It’s the position we'll be sitting in come May. And the number 666 is no doubt glistening with pride somewhere on your body.
Yours devastatingly,
Spooky

Here's the plain and simple facts. We had a squad capable of finishing second last season with a manager that also didn't have a clue tactically. We needed an experienced tactician to come in and guide them to the next step. AVB is not that man. The squad needed slight tinkering. We sold so many players mainly squad ones because they wanted out after redknapps lack of rotation. All we needed was to improve on last season. Last season we needed a prolific striker. Cover on the wings and a long term gk. We have only sold modric and vdv of the first choice. They needed to be added to the list of needed along with a replacement for ledley. So we got the long term GK in lloris, we got the replacement for king in Vertonghen and Caulker. Last season our strikeforce even with ade needed a prolific marksman who could play the one upfront lone role. We failed here. We should have kept vdv but sold and failed to get a replacement. We needed cover on the wings, we failed. Sigurdsen has replaced krancjer. Dembele has replaced pienaar. Dempsey has been added but is no direct replacement. The facts are all we should have lost was king and modric plus maybe some of the fringe players. What we needed was a cb, a striker, wing cover and a gk plus squad replacements for what we lost. We only got half of it but didn't replace the 2 key players or get that important striker. Ask yourself this. If modric and vdv had stayed and we signed what we have this summer would any of the new signings start ahead of modric or vdv.. The answer is no. We should have signed moutinho, should have kept vdv and signed ade permantely plus a prolific striker. The system our unexperienced manager is trying to use does not fit the players he has and won't ever because the players we have there attributes are not suited to his system. Same thing as at chelsea. Yet avb doesn't realise this. Just look at defoe as a loan striker for proof!
I've supported Spurs since the days of Jimmy Greaves but when Levy got rid of ARRY I was stunned.
How dare he, he should go ,not Harry.
It was bad enough when Martin Jol went.
We are going back to the bad old days.
Then I thought, well there's nothing we can do about now. Its no good complaining you should have done it when Harry was sacked .Its too late, just hold your breath and hope for the bast and get rid of LEVY.
Spooky, - I'm cracking up!
To all my fellow Spurs fans:
Remember; Patience is The Mother of all Virtues !
COYS!
Fuck me cant believe how many stupid tw@s think this is real or agree with anything. He's taking the piss you fucking idiots. You knee jerking wankers are all thats wrong with modern football, which is what he's taking the piss out of here. Booing cunts go buy some bin bags or give your tickets to supporters as you fair-weather 'fans' dont deserve to be at the game, fuck me you would have been shitting bricks if you had even heard of spurs in the 90's (btw we were shit). Great stuff as usual spooky, unfortunatley some people are to thick to get it.
Agree, Levy's penny pinching has cost us replacing Modric.
Silly to sell VDV, last player with any football brains in MF
AVB take note !
It is Bale not being on the left !
Siggurdsun, Dembele, Dempsey = all attacking midfieldrs, all score goals, all know how to make a run to the right place and stick it away
Bale brilliant at beating his man, crossing the ball, and cutting in to have a go himself.
Bale = crap in the middle, crap on the right, crap wandering around, getting in the way and leaving Benny to to his job, thus leaving us open at the back.
Lennon has had 2 good seasons,
1st when he first arrived ( to prove himself)
2ndwhen we bought Bentley, because he felt under threat.
There fore giving the the underperforming twat a 3 year extension isn't exactly going to spur him on.
FFS he cant cross with his right foot, what in God's name makes anyone think he can do it with his left.
Without decent service these new players will struggle.
Bale roaming worked "ONCE" v Norwich away last season.
Since then, he has not played on the left and Spurs have gone steeply downhill.
SORT it out, for goodness sake !
dan levy and enic could of be legends, we have not won the league in so long, why do u think we lose all these top players, think about it no serious investment. We were better than chelsea last season finishing 4th to there 6th place finish ok they won the C/L, so what do they do, go out and buy three of the players we were linked with, what do we do nick a average play out of liverpool's grasp, take a age to buy vertongen, bring back ade, with the exception of dembele class, dempsey was bought to make us think ur trying, and lloris we really did not need him right now, modric was off from the moment drogba's pen went in, and someone should of been lined up and bought, and modric sold to the highest bidder, not play small team to real madrid, people see TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC as a joke ive been supporting THFC since 1973 and nothing has changed. Mr lewis is a very wealthy man but i don't think he wants to be the one to make us great, why i don't know. So maybe they should pack up and go and let someone turn this coma laden club into something we can be proud of #TTIFD
@nycyid - you misheard us - we regard it as our relationship with the special needs.
Anyway if Dempsey comes good all is forgiven.
yes yes very ironic Spooky
You really are the most blinkered apologist for the idiot of a Chairman we have.
Maybe Daniel will give you a pat on the back one day, maybe even a smile, you'd love that, you'd go to bed smiling, don't worry Spooky I'm sure Daniels PR people have seen your contribution and knows how much you are backing him, well done.
Levy, the man who hired a failure of a manager, sacked his best manager, waited tll the last day to negotiate his successors number 1 target, bought an average striker who is Pav in disguise, bought a goalie we didn't need and sold people of quality and replaced them with average also rans.
You seem to think we wanted him to break the bank, we just wanted the idiot to spend the money on the right people, comparisons with Portsmouth and Leeds are infantile.
If you don't want to face facts that you're problem, but Levy has ruined our chances for this season and you are incapable of admitting it, but as you always say lets see what happens. I hope Im wrong and you are right.
COYS AND LEVY OUT.
PS: Daniel, spooky has no connection on his website to any of your critics, just wanted to make that clear.
@Moe. LOL as BAE would say.
Yeah Dempsey is pretty much the only American player I like.
COYS!!!
I want to see Levy in the apprentice!!!
Whether satire or not -- actually laid on the negatives far too thick and convincingly for it to be anything like a successful satire -- the Spurs were definitely anxious (as AVB admits), playing like they were afraid to make a single move that wasn't part of the new "system". Perish the thought that a world class player in top form like Dembele might come on at the START and grab the game by the scruff of the neck to lead them on to something approaching a victory.
Is your feeble attmept at satire supposed to be mocking the fans who actually feel this way.? Arsehole
@Paul Pearson--you write "a supporter, supports the team, the manager and the chairman."
First of all I didn't realize these rules existed. But thanks for laying them out. Is there a handshake or salute that goes along with this stuff?
Support the team? Always. I get that and agree with you 100% Love the shirt, TTID.
Support the manager? Up to a point. I'll give whoever is managing THFC the benefit of the doubt for as long as reasonably possible and I do agree with many here that we should give AVB a chance. But in my mind it's perfectly okay to question the manager and eventually NOT support him if I like. It seems a bit goose-steppy to have to support everything he does. Did you support everything Juande Ramos did?
Support the Chairman? Nope. He's just a guy in a suit who makes business decisions. He's supposed to be hardnosed and ruthless and he is most of all responsible to his board and the way THEY define the best interests of the club. Levy does this because of the very nature of his job as a business man. I am a reasonable person and I realize that he has a difficult job. I realize that he is privy to information that I am not. But at the end of the day I support him as much as I "support" Bill Gates. In the end I just want beautiful football and a computer that works. I expect the suits to do whatever is necessary to deliver.
For the record I do think it's way too early to start freaking out about the season. We were absolute dogsh*t yesterday but we'll get better. AVB needs a chance and people shouldn't boo. I think Levy is a mixed bag. He's done great deals but in full disclosure he strikes me as a pompous, short-sighted pr*ck. And if I actually believed I'd have to support that unctuous tw*t in order to support Tottenham Hotspur I'd pick another club. But I makes my own rules I guess :)
Also put me down as someone who hates the idea of booing. But what I hate even more is sanctimonious c*cks telling people what to think and I'm reading a lot of that here.
I normally read this and laugh, just to mock the stupidity of the authors and the amateur nature of your podcasts.
You are idiots, plain and simple. I'd love to get you in the bell and hare or the bill nich before a game and see if you have the balls I spout this crap.
Youre a spineless cretin who writes for ratings, the sooner you give up and let objective educated people blog on your behalf, the better we'll all be. Xx
VDV is gone, get over it. This man is gone because he has no ambition. He went back to the relegation struggling Hamburg to be the fans darling and to be close to his supermodel wife that has a job in German TV. He did a good job for the club and he is a star. Thank you very much and lets move on.
Lots of funny posts but "look at me im so funny " hits the spot .
I believe, overall, maybe Daniel Levy spent the transfer window al little too much with the handbrake on. COYG and do please mind that gap - I can only see it getting larger.
You should try being a Liverpool fan! lol
Honestly, have half of you guys never read DML before. This article is aimed directly at you idiots agreeing with it. I imagine 'satire' is too subtle a description for the chest thumping 'Arry loving troglodytes
amongst you to comprehend. In short Spooky is saying, calm down, shut up and support your team, your chairman and your manager. We've had a decent window and first half against Norwich aside looked alright this season. Once the likes of Dembele (who is an absolutely perfect fit as a Modric replacement you cretins) Adebayor Dempsey and Lloris are comfortably broken in to the new set up you'll see the team change as perform more as you'd like. But until they wind your necks in, stop
moaning and have a little patience. This isn't Football Manager. It takes time.
This is spot on! And all those who disagree need check ups from the neck up! We waited years to get to the top table of English football. years of hope followed by disappointment, usually by September. Redknapp cements our place at the top amongst the hardest top 4 there has ever been with Man city & Chelsea's £. He took us to Wembley almost ever year. A dream run to the quarter finals of the champions league and we played the best football I've ever seen in my 30 years of going down to WHL beating arsenal, liverpool home & away as well as turning up to Stamford bridge as favourites! Harry got us into top 4 last year and made us £7m! as he was only allowed free transfers and £4m on Parker but was made to sell Pav for £11m! And you lot want him out!? AVB has to finish 3rd or better to make this move worthwhile and I'll bet everything I own that he doesn't! And if he does, how loyal do you think he will be if man city, PSG, AC Milan or Barcelona come knocking? #carefulwhatyouwishfor
Spooks,
Has your blog really become this? Your remarks on DML may have become a perfect reflection of the way our owners "manage" the message at our club; Levy's £150M business. Think about that. I am not becoming bogged down in this note.
Can we go back to anonymity? Methinks better discussion that way; surely better that way. No Levy/ no blog leader/groupthink. At a minimum would stop any/all remarks offered as a glib contribution. We love the club and start and end there. This is a blog.
Perhaps that is the point. Blog not polemic. Levy feeds us polemics and they are empty.
Knock Knock, time to wake up.
Dear Mr Levy,
Thank you.
Thank you for completing me. Now we finally have it all. I’m licking my lips at the prospect of the “project” and Mr VB’s incredible dimensions. So thank you for this feeling of unrivalled bliss created by your godly hands but cruelly disdained for the past few years by that awful spiv whose name I cannot even bring myself to utter. Thank you for seeing past the press and acting on your principals, no one will ever cross you again - Stretford was the final straw - you had to act to save our empire from the evident impending doom. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in. Send for the birthday honours. Order me one knighthood for Daniel, it’s the least he deserves - arise Sir Levy! Any minute now, Keith Burkinshaw will appear with your halo – Tottenham til you die. You’ve managed to turn the many barren years into long-forgotten memories, onwards and upwards we cry. We hold you gratefully responsible for this transformation from also-rans, and completely understand that the dotted line must come first as above all things, we are a business. We must be patient, no matter what mishmash of a squad that our new wonder-manager is provided, we will challenge for the title as the cream always rises to the top.
You have backed Mr VB to the hilt already, his appointment alone should be a reflection of the trust that you have in him as the new Messiah destined to scale heights unsurpassed for many decades. We love your style. Always trying to do the best for Spurs by reducing prices with last minute deals - Lloris for £8mil, Dempsey for £6m what a top negotiator you are, we’d have paid at least £10m and £8m if we had bought them at the start of the window. Oh you tried for Moutinho, we know and trust you did. There was nothing doing, they simply wouldn’t budge and even mucked up the paperwork on purpose so they could keep him a little longer – we may still get him on loan I hear, in Daniel we trust. We are in awe of your negotiation skills, always fighting for pennies to save Spurs getting ripped-off. Better that we miss out on some key targets (and a few points) than be made to look like chumps across the whole of Europe.
Then there was the £25m bid for Damiao, now if that had come off we would have been top of the table by now. Or the bids for Falcao, Hulk and Willian that almost came off but baulked due to greedy owners not letting us dictate the prices of their players – the cheek of it! VDV was a lame old racehorse that was almost taken out back last season – how you managed to get £10m for that knackered old bike, god only knows! Another Levy masterstroke methinks. Dembele and Dempsey are pure genius and we’ll have all long forgotten about Ratface and Van der Traitor by the Reading game. Premier league experience makes all the difference and no big upheavals across London make our Fulham raid the perfect ointment for a top 3 finish. Don’t worry; soon we’ll have our pick of Benzema, Falcao, Hulk or whoever takes our fancy, in Levy we trust.
The world is our oyster. What need do we have for a few knackered old players like Dawson, Defoe and Huddlestone? If Mr VB doesn’t think they are up to scratch then ship them out asap, why keep any players the Messiah doesn’t rate? They should just sit it out on the fringes of the squad and keep themselves to themselves until we can find them a nice retirement home a la Stoke or Sunderland. To top this all off, we now have the best catering in the country – what a treat to go hand in hand with the crème de la crème of football as played by our boys week in week out. And we are now the partners of the greatest team in modern and prehistoric times – Real Madrid. I mean you simply couldn’t make it up, soon they will be feeding us all their top players and taking our kids on loan to blood them for the newly crowned champions of the world – THFC!!!
I couldn’t be happier.
You are making this club great again. Buying an array of incredible talents, ridding us of deadwood whilst always securing us the best deal possible no matter who you trample along the way. All you want is for us to be successful; you try so hard to satisfy our craving whilst creating a great image for our club across the globe. You will not waste our hard-earned cash and must at all costs always secure the best for THFC plc as you always do. Yeah we have some money but why waste it all on top players? We need to build from the bottom and use Mr VB’s prowess as a coach rather than buy a quick fix. We must go forth and multiply, not multiply and go fourth...
This brings us to White Hart Lane, the reason we need to be frugal, the golden chalice to the riches of continued success. I mean look at Citeh, no sooner did they step into the CMS than a mega-rich owner came a knocking. This will be your legacy Daniel, your Ardiles/Villa, your Juergen - AVB and 5-10 years of purse tightening will leave us with an extra 20,000 or so seats to match the elite we have so recently joined, it all makes such perfect sense now. Daniel, you are pure genius.
As for Mr VB’s dimensions as a head coach, oh well, it’s only one game (or is it 2?) and we have 33+ more to get it right. How can he fail if he’s been selected by Daniel and has worked under Jose Mourinho, I mean that man is the modern Midas isn’t he? I’ve seen us play worse under Ramos so give the guy a break, there’s no need to panic just yet Mr Mainwaring! I’m just ecstatic to see 11 lilywhite brave hearts fighting for every ball, the passion on that pitch on Saturday was almost gladiatorial. Ok the result didn’t go our way but at least they seemed to follow our leader with the same vigour as all of us fans did. I couldn’t quite understand why all our fans kept booing Chris Hughton though, loyal servant in my book but I guess you can’t please everyone all of the time, felt a little sorry for him at times though I must say.
I’m massively looking forward to the QPR game and am convinced all will have clicked by then of course. I’m waiting in eager anticipation for my Dembele 3rd kit to arrive (to replace my Rafa/Ledley/Luka ones) along with my Hugo Lloris tea-cosy and Mr VB commemorative ladel. With FIFA 13 on pre-order, at 34 I can pretend to be Mr VB and guide us to glory on all 4 fronts as I’m sure we’ll achieve given time, plenty of time.
I’m confident that we can replace any dropped points as last season was just a freak and there’s no point crying over spilt points at this stage of the season. C’mon, all we have to do is beat Man Citeh or Man Ure and we’re back on track – no problem! Sure there’s a small gap to the Woolwich Wanderers but he who laughs last laughs loudest as they say, I really believe that it will be our year sometime soon and they’re just a bunch of smug glory-seeking shits anyway.
You have kept our soul from the devil. By scaring off the Roman army and Arabian Knights you have kept us pure to your cause – as an investment for an investment company. Sure you could have made it easy for yourself by not being greedy and we could have suffered at the hands of the devil just as our blue rivals have. But no, this was your project and your project it will remain. Good on you Daniel for believing in yourself as we believe in you.
You will always be our number 1 and we know that one day soon that’s where we’ll all be sitting together.
Yours gleefully,
Ino Boo
I wonder if some of the people commenting think TheOnion is real too?
Fickle. One word Spooky, Fickle. Its only been 3 games at least give AVB a chance to instill his tactics into the team and give us the success and consistency that the squad potentially could have. Also take into account that at the end of the day it is a business and levy has been doing his best to make a profit while taking the team forward. We have gone from a mid-table team to a top four team in the last 10 years all under levy's guidance and that in itself is a huge achievement especially as he has been making profit throughout those ten years unlike Manc and Chelski who have bought their way to the top as their owners use the club as a hobby unlike ours. We get three unfortunate results and in two of those cases the team deserved alot more out of the game and then you go nuts and call for the management changes and a new chairman. Its honestly embarrassing. Levy has of course made mistakes but in large he has done alot of good for this club. A new stadium is currently under construction, a top training centre has benn created, he removed harry when you were calling for his head and as mentioned earlier he has brought the club to new found heights in the league. I was as upset as the next fan when we lost VDV and modders, but in general we have been very productive in the market. Lloris is the no1 for france and their captain and will be a huge success, I guarantee it. We all saw what dembele was capable of against norwich on saturday, do I need to say anymore? And dempsey is a proven goalscorer in this leauge and will score goals for the club. With a few changes to the starting 11 we will have a very succesful season. Do us all a favour go and support arsenal. Their fans would be happy with someone half as loyal as you.
Comon is it really satire when it all rings so true. AVB will not adapt this is clear and he will tinker because he can not accept we ain't Porto. I didn't want him to fail after all I know many a slave of Chelsea but welcome to the transition I suppose!
Hey guys Sir Alex fergusons first season at Man Utd was worse than this...look where they at now? U have some good points mate but us fans cant do nothing about it. Rome wasn't build in one day...
A great team that Redknapp built? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
You shouldn't have a lobotomy, there's nothing but shit to puncture inside that head of yours.
Redknapp signed players on the twilight of their careers. Saha, Gallas, Piennaar and Parker. These are the kind of signings that would make a club go bankrupt because they have little to offer for the club with no re-sale value. The spine of the team that Redknapp had WAS NOT brought in by that idiot that called himself a manager. Modric, Bale, King and the others all were brought in by past managers. If you think Redknapp was the one that built that team you are very wrong and clearly don't have any brain cells.
I can sympathise with Spooky but I feel the problem is more on the pitch than with Levy. During the dark days of the latter end of the past two seasons we played with flair and style but could not score enough goals. Nevertheless we played good exciting and delightful football, with very few exceptions. This season we look like an average Championship side. Just because we have lost Modric, VDV and KIng, I don't see that as the reason why all of the other players are looking so mediocre. They were waiting for something to happen rather than trying to make it happen. This has gone on for 3 games and is starting to become alarming. We have lost the ascendancy in the way we are now playing. Why has the team gone off the boil? I have a horrible suspicion that Levy has bought a pig in a poke with AVB. Chelsea looked lost and all at sea last season. I hope that I am wrong and the arrival of Dembele (who looked good) and Dempsey can turn things around. Unless they make an impact we will revert to mid table mediocrity as the team has definitely lost its spark.
@Epic
Sir we should make you officially "King Spud"
All you other "doom and gloom" tossers go back and write out Epics post here 100 times each......maybe after doing that you might start to get the point!!.....( although I doubt it!......morons! )
Hooray to Epic....
Long live the king!
P.S. If we do make you king then you should at least consider spooky for a knighthood sire!
COYS!
The laws of Sod state quite clearly:-
1). If things can get worse they will.
2). Once things have got worse they will never improve.
3). Beware of all bald headed men wearing glasses.
4). If a man can stuff up Chelsea he can also stuff you up.
5). Once in the depths of despair further despair will follow.
6). The numbers 18, 19, 20 loom large in the ball of crystal.
i can laugh at you... where were u when Levy wasnt buying you
All right you lot,
Being born a Spurs fan I know it's not easy. Levy's both a twat and a good business man, but neither matter at this point.
At this point all that matters is that we look to the next game, get our boys in order and calm down a bit. AVB is being a bit
of a prat for some of his team choices thus far, but hopefully he'll learn and quick. Some of the new boys'll need time to ajust and I can understand that.
What we all need is a good cupa and for AVB to get his shit in order, we have two weeks and we can warm up the ol' vocals to support our team again. We don't neer Harry (his behaviour was awful the second half of the season) and we have gone through this before between managers. It'll come.... and this is being said by a very impatient man.
I will beathe and not lose my head too soon. I suggest we all do the same, it's the Spurs way.
Maybe until 8 games....
COYS!
I absolutely hate this article. I also absolutely hated watching the Norwich game. We were so slow, standing still, not making any runs. I couldn't watch it....but I did because it was THFC. I sincerely hope this is not what AVB thinks our game should be. We were so fast on the break before now we wait for the entire opposition to get back whilst we toy around passing between the back four. If I see Gallas get the ball one more time with no in front of him and pass it back to Brad, I will vomit.
FUCKING SPEED OUR PLAY UP... one of the fastest teams in the league and we were standing still????????????WTF
But this article. satire (which I doubt) or not is a disgrace. The teams needs everyone supporting them . It's OK to have an opinion (constructive hopefull) but this vitriol is ridiculous

ha ha ha ha little little spuddies ....
I have not read the responses yet spooky but once again, so very many people are going to think you're serious and some may actually agree with you. lol. COME ON YOU SPURS.
Have some faith. We will pick it up. We always do!!!!!!
Not your best work Spooks.
Belittling Spurs fans who don't share your opinion is poor form- you're better than that.
Spooky, a very clever set of posts indeed, now I am looking forward to the moment we start winning and how the world will change, because we are Spurs.
I don't get why you are being so aggressive towards fellow spurs fans spook. Sure, booing is wrong but they love thfc just like us but they vent it in a different way. Personally I didn't boo but just shouted you fucking shit cunts at the top of my voice. Was I wrong? Does that disgust you. If you have point to make why don't you make it rather than this BS sarcastic bollocks. We are all in the same boat guys, we are spurs. Your better than this spook. A fuck load better
I love these fans whose only response to everything is to spend more money and buy more players, like we're playing a computer game with unlimited funds. We already have better players than West Brom or Norwich, plus we were playing at home, so that isn't the issue. In both matches we went ahead only to sit back and try and defend a one goal lead instead of trying to score the second and kill the game. We invited pressure and paid for it. In both games the manager brought on a second striker but then took one off once we went ahead. In any sport , at any level, winning teams go for the jugular when they are ahead. Losers get frightened and try and protect what they have. At the moment we are playing like losers and that seems to stem from the manager.
Oh my, Spooky
You´ve started the avalanche...
Guess you are sitting somewhere Benny LOL´ing over the replys.
Hilarious article - spot (the sarcasm) on !
Can't believe the amount of people that disagree with this post. You settle for 2nd best. Oh it's the taking part that counts...Please f8ck off and support Norwich.
For Christ sake, we have 6 (well 5) new players, all good players too, and a new coach and coaching regime which brings with it new tactics and practices. So far we have only lost away at Newcastle which is on par with our Premier League history as we've always hated going there, and 2 draws, ok whilst it isn't good, it is not the end of the world for a team still settling in. Granted if in a few months we still haven't picked up a win then I'll be angry. For now let's just be frustratedly patient and give the team and head coach a chance to get his practices into place. Booing your team 3 games in is an utter disgrace and sickening to 90% of us Tottenham fans, grow up and give it time. Like I said in another few months if it's still not working out then is the time to vent!
You have really lost it Spooky.
This is nothing other than a petulant load of rubbish in response to being criticised for being a Levy apologist, but it just confirms that view.
Shame. There used to be a good blog here.
I should think Bale is talking to his agent now about a Jan move - his is if he has any sense anyway.
AVB looks like a frightened rabbit and obviously hasn't got a clue. He just got lucky with Porto.
Still a season were we fight relegation is always exciting. Harry is still available when the
pebble finally drops with Levy.
I have no issue with us not being in the top 4 at the moment. However, playing catch up to United, City & Chelsea is standard fare, but we're already 5 points behind WBA & Swansea......
Two of the three games we've played so far this season are classed as games we should have picked up 6 points from, especially at home. Instead we've got just 2 from those games and nothing away at Newcastle.
This is supposed to be the EASY part of our season in terms of opponents!!
I'm getting in early with a prediction for the Reading game. 3-1 defeat in front of the Sky cameras and a watching and laughing audience.
Where's Paul? I want to know what Paul thinks
Plenty of Levy apologists on here. Your not alone Spooks, but Levy got the wrong man in. Should have gone for Moyes and Moyes said he would consider the move if he was approached. AVB is no one without Jaou Mountino.
Yeah, it's only been 3 games etc etc. But I would be lying if i didn't say I'm worried, very worried. Dembele is going to be class, but in a weak team playing crapp football.
Dave, to be fair to myself, this letter has been in the works for a week so it was just good timing that I was called an apologist.
Also...actually no, fuck it. I won't say it out loud. If you're a regular reader than you know exactly why these letters get written without even having to work your way through the comments section.
