Oracle - Probably. Hopefully. The club has confirmed he 'tweets'. His account is locked, so someone shared his posts which is a bit naughty, but I guess trust and public domain don't go hand in hand. Shockingly, he has given me access to his twitter updates. I'll be disappointed if it isn't Darren's account.

Can anyone shed a bit more light on the nature of this story for those of us who haven't seen a newspaper yet today? I feel blind! lol.
Stupid filters at work mean DML is about the only footy related site I can go on until lunch.
If this isn't true - which it probably isn't - I feel quite sorry for the poor sod. Yanked off a plane at the last minute, paraded around to all takers like a lady of the night, and now stitched up for national amusement on twitter.
(Although if it is true, the guy's a legend...)

For Maddy.........Darren Bent is at the centre of a transfer controversy after comments attributed to him were posted on an internet networking site.
The page, supposedly under Bent's control, featured alleged comments aimed at Spurs chairman Daniel Levy that surfaced on Thursday evening.
Anyone now attempting to visit the page is greeted with a message reading, "This page does not exist."
Neither the club nor the player has released a statement regarding the incident thus far, though officials at White Hart Lane are believed to be launching an internal inquiry into the affair.

amen for no filters here...though they'd probably block american football, baseball, hockey, basketball, and nascar sites before they banned futbol sites here lol...yeah 'his' page is down...however, that account had more tame posts on tuesday about him leaving and such which leads me to believe it might actually be him (and outlets other than the sun were reporting on it then i believe)...the fact he hasn't said anything yet probably leads more credence to that fact...
