WALOB

Sodding internationals. Why don't they just line-up our players and shoot them in the back of the head. I'm going to go score some coke and drink a bottle of rum.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:27 PM | Unregistered CommenterSpursi

Get me some weed whilst you're there. I'm down to half a spliff's worth. And I'm rolling that now... In the vain hope it'll fix Daws.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:27 PM | Unregistered CommenterZab

Poor old Daws; it looks like we'll be seeing Gallas in our colours sooner rather than later!
Let's just hope it's not as bad as it looked :-(

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:27 PM | Unregistered Commentershelfy

I knew I should have stuck to my guns and not watched the game.
We've got two opposite ends of the spectrum tonight - JD with a brace (so far) and Daws f'ing his knee up......
Let's hope that it's not as bad as it looked (can't see it being the case though).

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:28 PM | Unregistered CommenterWalkerboy

Fucks sake - Gallas may be in sooner than we thought. Defoe is having a stormer though what?

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:28 PM | Unregistered CommenterSpuradic Joy

All we need is an injury to one other centre-half, and we'll be looking at Kaboul or Corluka playing in the centre of defence. What with King and his cameos.

COYS and all that, but I feel sick for Daws.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:28 PM | Registered Commenterspooky

It looked bad very bad ! Poor Dawson just when the season gets going this happens ! Best of luck get well soon Daws !!!!!!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:29 PM | Unregistered CommenterThe Master

Spooky, you're a dad. Be responsible. Just say no!

just looked in the dictionary under Theo Walcott it says no end product !! 2 games in 4 years when he has produced and the media run out of superlatives to describe him i only need one - SHITE

Harry will be pissed !

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:32 PM | Unregistered CommenterThe Master

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:32 PM | Unregistered CommenterBumble

I have a "Get Well Soon" card sitting unused in my drawer at work.....
Think I'll be posting it on Monday!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:32 PM | Unregistered CommenterWalkerboy

i hate 4 teams chelsea west ham arsenal and ENGLAND

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:32 PM | Unregistered Commenterspurslove

He did fall awkwardly and seemed to be in considerable pain afterwards but it didn't look too bad too me. Remember towards the end of 2009 when he picked up that bad ankle injury and everyone said he'd be out for the rest of the season but then recovered....I'll bet he's a tough nut and be back to normal sooner rather than later. COYS !

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:33 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Shame it's not a Gooner who's gone down.... would be worth it just to hear Wenger blaming over-physical opponents.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:33 PM | Unregistered CommenterWalkerboy

Gutted for Dawson.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:35 PM | Unregistered CommenterJim

I fucking hate internationals. Am furious about this, won't watch England again. Harry ought to withdraw all of our players on international duty immediately. very very angry

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:36 PM | Unregistered CommenterRiquelme

I don't get all you drug users!

I'm off to play Russian Roulette with a single shot pistol! (Heard it is meant to be a blast!)

:P

Seriously though, very, very bad new for the Spurs!

COYS!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:37 PM | Unregistered CommenterHoe

it's really not right is it, our player of the season last year. who, along with king is the most deserving of our players in representing spurs in the champions league proper, might not get his chance, lets hope that ether the injury isn't that bad or we're still in the ucl when he comes back from injury.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:38 PM | Unregistered Commenterjim

Absolutely gutted for the lad. His reaction reminded me of how I felt when I did my ACL. I hope to god it's not that bad. Best run of the night from Walcott there, to the touchline to be subbed. Useless prick. Get well soon daws.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:39 PM | Unregistered CommenterStoney

Nearly choked on my dinner seeing Daws get injured, keeping everything crossed that probably our most consistent player for last 18 months or so will be back sooner rather than later, Why couldn't it happen to one of those northern monkey's instead !!!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:40 PM | Unregistered CommenterSouth Stand Yid

Now JD picks up an injury - GREAT!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:41 PM | Unregistered CommenterWalkerboy

Great hat rick but groin........??? Shit hope not

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:42 PM | Unregistered CommenterSpursi

ffs

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:42 PM | Registered Commenterspooky

looks like defoe might be joining daws on the side lines. wonder if that groin is twitching again

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:42 PM | Unregistered Commenterjim

Now Defoe's ankle !!!! FFFFF FFFFFF SSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:43 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Fuck sake. Defoe takes a knock/goes over on his ankle. Pile of shit. Grabs 3 though.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:43 PM | Unregistered CommenterTomtraubert

think JD ok but looks bad for Daws

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:46 PM | Unregistered CommenterPaul

Jim, that's no way to speak about our esteemed manager.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:48 PM | Unregistered CommenterShelfLife

Can anyone find out the status on Daws ? Any one got any contacts on site at Wembley ?

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:49 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

JD will be fine. Might miss next England game. Dawson, wow, that was wrong. We won't see him for a while.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:50 PM | Unregistered CommenterThe Machine

I actually do have a contact at wembley. The official line is that "he's fucked"

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterCarlos

Gonna be the Gallas/King axis for Spurs or Gallas/Kaboul when King is resting...poo

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Cunt off England !

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:54 PM | Unregistered CommenterThe Master

I bet we're all slightly more pleased to have gallas now, ok an experienced defender who hadn't played for chelsea and the gooners would've been preferable but we'll have to take what we've got

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:55 PM | Unregistered Commenterjim

I think Gallas will do a good job for us but he ain't no Daws
get well quickly son!

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:55 PM | Unregistered CommenterCohen

Blessing in disguise if you ask me. Feel sorry for Dawson as he's a nice bloke, but Gallas and Bassong are both more agile, less clumsy and better at defending. Maybe now Bassong will get the respect he deserves instead of making way every time Ledley plays.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:56 PM | Unregistered CommenterMickey

Fucked, what "proper" fucked ?

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:57 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Daws loss will be huge but bassong isn't that bad. He's just not great...:-|

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:57 PM | Unregistered CommenterYiddogray

Are you telling us Bassong is better than Dawson ???

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:58 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Harry was going on about Huddlestone getting a go for England, wish he would keep quiet, what about the injuries?.Sorry but fuck Engand, iwant my Spurs fit and raring to go.Going to be just great if it affects our big games.Come on Dawson get better soon and again fuck Engand its Spurs big time now and i dont want the big Italian doughnut ballsing it up now.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:58 PM | Unregistered Commentercol

No he seems to be suggesting Bassong's better than King. gulp.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:59 PM | Unregistered CommenterShelfLife

We need Defoe to stay fit, I haven't seen him that sharp for a long time!
If he keeps it up I can see us still being in the Champons league when Daws comes back

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:59 PM | Unregistered CommenterCohen

JD is fine. Phew. Looks like I wont be heading out to Whitechapel this evening.

Sep 3, 2010 at 9:59 PM | Registered Commenterspooky

When the fook are we going to get the word on Daws out of Wembley ???????????????

Sep 3, 2010 at 10:00 PM | Unregistered CommenterActon_Yid

Looks bad for Daws...gutted for him. JD looked sharp - and a left footed hat trick...brilliant. His injury was a knock on the ankle by the defender's boot not a groin injury.

Sep 3, 2010 at 10:02 PM | Unregistered CommenterDave of DC

Daws fell at a very bad angle. Sincerely hope his cruciate is made of granite. Could be fucked for the season. I'm off for some crack and a pint of meths.

Sep 3, 2010 at 10:04 PM | Unregistered CommenterBig Fish

England were not too bad this evening, latter part of the second half at least. Gutted for Dawson, but we'll manage. Just gutted for him and the fact he'll miss out on CL.

Sep 3, 2010 at 10:05 PM | Unregistered CommenterJep

We had half our team out for big parts of last season and we still finished 4th
I don't think Daws will be such a massive loss, we could even drop Thud in to CD that way we can accomodate another one of the 20 or so midfielders we have at our disposal
