Translated

"He's very approachable. If there is a problem, or something we feel is not right, his door is open. He wants us to work that way: together, the players and staff, and if there is a problem we can always share our ideas with him and he will take it on board. For example, if we feel we are working too hard in training, if we say that to him, then he'll ease it off. He's still learning as well as a manager but he does all the coaching and everything himself, which is great. Every manager is different and he has his own ways of working. Sometimes it just takes a little bit of time." - Gareth Bale

Translated:

It's mutiny. We all dislike him and don't agree with his methods. We're going to make sure he's sacked by not playing well.

"He's cool. He has a different way to work, so we learn different things from him. He's like the son of Mourinho because he used to work with him and he works in the same style. We do a little more tactics at training. If we work more about tactics we can win and we will enjoy (our football)." - Assou-Ekotto

Translated:

I'm not happy. Villas-Boas thinks he's Mourinho but he's just a pretender.

“I think the chairman sees Tim working with the development squad.” - Andre Villas-Boas

Translated:

I kill him. I kill Broomfield and now I kill Sherwood. He is frozen in ice. I'm the overload of the universe and eat babies for breakfast.

Had to laugh at the utter tripe on the back page of that comic this morning, no source, no direct quotes just the usual sensationalist drivel we expect from the sun, personally i dont think that rag should be allowed to call itself a NEWS paper.

Since I blocked all the haters on my NewsNow feed everything has become so much more enjoyable. I don't miss all those adverts either - you know, the ones that all THOSE papers and sites have to make money. All the controversy is put there to wind you up so that you read them ...... so don't read them. COYS!!

I don't get it, talking about the sun as if it is in anyway relevant anymore is like talking about dinosaurs as if they still roamed the earth. The sun is dead! Soon it will only be available in your local builder's cafe!

The Stun may be doomed long-term ..... I don't know, but it is still read by more people than any other paper, and owned by the biggest media group in the world. IMO most of the boos come off the backs of punters who read the Stun and the Daily Snail - they are the big haters, plus Cross at the Mirror. But the Stun is the big leader of blue collar opinion, and will be until enough people, like the scousers, bin it.

So where's the Man U preview then Spooks? Can't wait baby. You've spoilt us - come on, out with it!

The sun is for the feeble of mind and I like to think that there are not too many Spurs fans in that particular group!

Sep 29, 2012 at 9:58 AM | Unregistered CommenterSpurstough

Cannot believe the Sun, Mail and the Metro today. Seriously do they just have a telephone conference to agree what they are going to publish so as all three of them are saying it people will think it must be true. Really winds me up!!

Quite funny. We get this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/columnists/alansmith/9574978/Manchester-United-v-Tottenham-Moussa-Dembele-offers-Andre-Villas-Boas-so-many-attacking-options.html and this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2210358/Tottenham-players-unhappy-Andre-Villas-Boas.html?openGraphAuthor=%2Fhome%2Fsearch.html%3Fs%3D%26authornamef%3DSportsmail%2BReporter

One about how happy everyone is, and the other the exact opposite! I get a sneaky good feeling about today..

The tabloids are getting their knives out, perhaps in revenge for one of them being made a fool of at AVB's press conference.

But, I do think Bale's quotes in the Guardian, if accurate, read like coded criticism, implying he has made them train too hard and still has a lot to learn as a manager.

Stumbled across the same headline this morning and just shook my head in pure disbelief. This only to hide the sheer embarrassment that is the english media. Avb has his work cut out on the footballing side, let alone surviving the insatiable and rabid witch hunt that besets him. I have bought the scum newspaper twice in the last six months, however, this disease seems to have afflicted the likes of> Metro- standard and any other cheap tampon that peddles it's own ' nothingness '.

Its a disgrace and the media seems to continually play that old : " what , it wasn't us routine ". It has boundless resource and is unanswerable to anyone or anything. the invisible plague, wofting effortlessly from port to port. The channels are no better. they all serve the same master and seemingly all lack anything -helpful-factual-sporting- dignified.

I personally wish and always have that for just one day a week, the government ban the sales of shit rags , on the basis that they only serve to lower the standards and therefore quality of life for the 'decent folk'. Takes ten seconds to look at the tits and holistic approach to vitriol, self loathing and shameless idol worshipping. on a few sites todays spurs bashing was predicted, following avb' intelligent dismissal of the scum trying to bait him during the week.

i did smoke something pretty strong last night, but am glad to see that my paranoia hasn't yet spiralled completely out of control.

Good article.

Great club

The same knuckle dragging slug of a reporter Paul Jiggins. The same man who last season quoted micheal Dawson as saying he wanted to leave and there was unrest etc etc. blabbing on talks*** radio only for half an hour later for Dawson to release a official statement telling hOw the story was lies and he was consulting his legal team. To coin a phrase, this thrash is a load of old Jiggins.

The constant press hate for AVB and Redknapp sacker Levy is just thickening our skins and fortifying our support of OUR club, OUR team and OUR manager. With very positive result and performance it's another slap down to these morons who crawl on the coat tails of our game, they're like ITKs on major deluded power trips. They know squat, apart from how to slime their way to a livIng. Can't wait for AVB to ram their words down their throats even more as he did yesterday in his press conference. COYS

It all in the tea leaves

When I read one of these media fantasies, I find myself heading to the kitchen, switching
on the kettle and chucking a teabag into a cup.
"Its just provocation my son", I tell myself
This is just their method, get as many responses to show my editor how good I am?
Pouring the boiling water in the cup, and watching the little bag slowly sink
“Stay above it mate don’t react, it’s a sad Troll who thinks he’s a Journo"
Squeezing the last of the tea out of the teabag, I watch it fall into the depths of my bin
"Bye bye troll'
Sipping the glorious cuppa, I head back to the Living room, cleansed.

At this moment the red top that this certain troll writes fo,r hasn’t run an article on the magnificent
Spurs win over ManUre!!!
However looking around the world of Journalisim I find this:

French
Le Monde Manchester United surprised by Spurs
Le Figaro Tottenham drop their nemesis

Dutch
Algemeen Dagblad Spurs pull off a stunt against Man Utd in spectacular game
De Telegraaf Vertonghen “we knew we could do it”
Volkskrant Spurs pull off a stunt against Man Utd in spectacular game + 10 photos

Spanish
El Mond Villas Boas stuck it to the “Red Devils
El Pais Manchester losses ground

Portuguse
Publico Villas Boas’s Tottenham beats Manchester United
Jornal de Noticias Tottenham won 2-3 on visit to Manchester United

Italian
La Repubblica United fall at Old Trafford, Tottenham win 2-3

I conclude: World of Journalism 10 - Trolls 0
