I've just this moment stopped playing with the voodoo dolls. I've exhausted all the pins. I've dished out a hex or two for good measure. Arsenal v Chelsea. That show-piece game was my doing. So boring, one of the side effects from watching it was I've regressed to a foetus. I'm blogging from the womb. I've also taken the time to prepare some protective and transfiguration spells to make sure all corners are covered (although no guarantee our actual corners will show a marked improvement in delivery. Voodoo only stretches so far).
If we win tonight, we'll claim a top 4 finish. That's my resulting has no merit in the living world prediction.
Dark magic and sacrificed mascots aside, we've got no momentum, no mojo and we've been on a downward spiral for a while. More erratic never erotic. Same squad, same players that produced scintillating football and long unbeaten runs during the first part of the season. Got too comfortable, feel asleep. Alarm clock set for wake up call. Please, do not hit the snooze button.
This is the last must win of the season. It's the end of days must win. The Godzilla of must wins. No, scrap that...It's the bastard child of Godzilla and the Kraken of must win games.

Come on you Spurs. Rip the heart from out of my chest and kick it about for 90 minutes. It's the only way I know.

It must be mentality as as soon as it went one nil...i knew we had lost my son (7) knew we had lost and judging by body language harry knew we had lost....agree with all above but especially those who put in writing the ins and outs.....pienar.pav.corluka..caulker would have been usefull today as in my eyes the 11 out there with exception of walker really didnt give too much of a shit.....on this site we all love glory football and swagger but today our mr swagger Bae was just put in his place by a championship winger who just wanted it more and thats too embarassing for me......when we had a shit squad and we worked hard but wasnt good enough and we finished about 8th it hurt....but having bale..modric..lennon..van der vaart and finishing behind a hard working team like newcastle hurts more...
You don't need a couple of players.
You need a goalie, two centre halves, better cover at fullback, another midfielder to replace/rotate with Parker. Another midfielder to replace Modric. Another attacking midfielder to replace Bale/fill him in for him when he doesn't fancy playing. You need at least 2 more strikers. You also need to pay off Harry's contract if England don't come for him, and at least pay off his staff. Then you need a manager. Also you need a new stadium, but I doubt the sponsorship revenues you'll get for playing a Ukranian power station's best 11 next year will be enough to finance that. Like Liverpool you have £20m worth of archtiects drawings and models of it, but no bricks.
You do have all your 'Mind the Gap' T-shirts though. They must still be worth something so it's not all bad.

Good shout Hazard on the difference some decent strikers have made to other ordinary sides. But tell me - if we can see it - why cant [couldn't] Levy. Do you think deep down Arry knows this which is why he has said for a while that we need a couple more players to stake a claim.
So certain people keep saying. Last year we lost Fab and Nasri and finished 4th. This season, whilst also competing with Spurs' best side in 50 years no less we finished one place higher. I wonder if people like you and Alan Green will ever be right.
