The last blog was much more interesting. I know it's wrong, but I almost feel sad for the West Ham fans; the only reason they want to move to what will be a soulless two bob stadium is because they don't want us there.
Whether you like them or hate them, WHUFC is a 'pwoper' club. I haven't been there for a while, and it might still be full of unwashed types, but it's still a club true to football's working class routes, isn't it, rather than a bunch of cunts who have jumped on the band wagon like the scum's new fans have?
If the boot was on the other foot, we'd be up in arms about another club moving into our borough, whether we could afford an OS or not. It simply isn't right.
And another thing, it is complete and utter nonsense to suggest that Levy never wanted the OS, and that all the shenanigans we've seen since the bid are all part of some 'Machiavellian' master plan designed to gain funds for the NDP. Why was AEG Levy's joint partner in the original bid?
My issue has always been, for such a shrewd negotiator - how could he have possibly believed the OS would be awarded/recommended to us?
Yes, he wanted the OS. But deep down he must have known that it will end up back at the NDP. Even if it was all geared towards the OS. Like I said, the contingency for the NDP has, in a round about way, come back to being the NDP.

Maybe he believed that Spurs with the weight of AEG behind them had the money and a good case, whereas WHU didn't, and that that might actually count for something. As I'm sure you'll agree, the whole thing has way passed a joke.

he knows that as much as WH are a little dot on the football map at the moment in 10 years they could be a decent prem team with the OS and that will attract corps and fans away frmo Spurs if we are still at the Lane. With the goons and their spaceship and the irons and their OS, WHL will looklike a poor relation. so yse blocknig the WH bid was as significant as getting it for ourselves.
but all this worry will fall away if gocyt help us out with 75m or so grant or a cheap loan. and then the whole of harringay can benefit as well as THFC.
