Probably our fault for agreeing the time change to 12:45 with Sky.

Money, money, money.

Ohil Neville is pathetic. He has come into this game afraid of Bale and has resorted to shoving and pushing. What a poor player!

Was Bale playing Yido's? Must have been why Baines got man of the match!

I will take that result. We looked a bit tired but there were a lot of positives today. Sandro, BAE, Gallas, Kaboul, Modric showed some encouraging stuff. Bale a bit flat for Bale (though you can't have worldbeating hat-tricks ever day) Lennon not quite there yet. Crouch had some decent moments interspersed with frustrating uselessness.
I liked Harry's substitution idea of flipping Bale around but we didn't take advantage of the moment.
I love Pav but he looked a bit sluggish and lazy.
Everton are on the up and it's a weird fixture but I see positives overall.
Onward and upward!

Bale was playing. Just a little tired from the other night. Apparently he kicked the ball about, not sure where, haven't seen anything on the telly about it.

Have you?

Looked like both teams were happy with the result in the second half.
Cannot be bothered to look the refs name up but one of the worst displays I can remember seeing.
Totally conned by Yaks dive for the free kick that led to their goal ( great finish by Baines nevertheless ) but decent of their GK to right the wrong by setting up VDV up for the equaliser.
Not surprised we looked lethargic after Wednesday but disapointed with the number of times we just gave the ball away when under no pressure.
They coped well with Bale by double teaming him with Coleman and Neville but it does not say much for us when we are unable to isolate Bale against Neville.
No idea why HR weakened us further by sticking Bale on the RW for the last 15 minutes, particularly as for the last 10, they replaced Coleman with a forward leaving Neville with no protection.
Surely that was the time to put Bale back on the left ?
Kaboul looks half decent and Modric looked better today.Cant say the same for Crouch or Pav when he came on.
Noticed VDV played a few passes for Crouch and Pav to run on to. Waste of time they looked like they were running through treacle.
Should work when Defoe plays if he stays onside.

I hate to say this, but i was kind of hoping crouch would pick up a little knock on 3min and have to go off. How anyone can go on about his 'partnership' with VdV after his assist was complete luck, bouncing off his knee into his chest, is beyond me. What a waste of a player. I would rather play anyone upfront than him.... he cant shoot, he cant really head the ball, he cant turn, 1 pass completed in every 10, oh and did i mention he cant shoot..... sure that should a a prerequisite for any striker.....Im hurt and confused.

"He gives you something else," said Redknapp of Crouch.
Yes, but he's in the position that gets presented with the goalscoring opportunities.
"You take Crouchie out of there and you've got to play perfect football to break teams down."
Think I'd prefer us to try to play perfect football.
