Stoned on Spurs
Welcome to episode three of The Fighting Cock, this week coming from the almost derelict 'The Rose' pub in the back streets of London Bridge starring Flav, Spooky, tehTrunk, Chicago Dan, Al the engineer and we also welcome guest 'Pete'. Ricky is also present, but good luck working that one out. It's a straight-laced first part and chaotic second where we struggled to keep a straight face (it's radio, you can't see, but the laughing gives it away).
Special thanks to Paul, The Guvnor of The Rose pub, for allowing us to use this now sadly retired former Spurs stronghold in the heart of Millwall territory.
Love the shirt.

The Rose is a legendary old boozer, God bless all who sail in her. That is all.
Why even bother doing the Jenas debate?
If anyone still rates Jenas or can't see that he's a spineless loser, there really is no hope for them.
Some still believe.
My performances in the CC Semi Final against Arsenal deserve more recognition, without those than you can kiss goodbye to that final win over Chelsea.
spooks, hate to say it but the latest podcast wasn't great. it sounds like what it is, a bunch of mates chatting over beers and ganj. with your writing skills, i'd have you drafting the backbone and the gags, get chicago and flav to be team leaders and then swap guests on each team weekly in the old format used in question of sport, have i got news for you etc. current format sounds like a laugh to record, but not to listen to. jut becausthe funniest things sound off the cuff, it's not becausen is. the stoned bloke and references to him didn't do anything for me.
All feedback welcomed. We're trying to be as organic as possible and we know we're making errors in terms of perhaps not stating certain things that are happening as to not alienate the listener from the conversation (pods so far have had some out side interference).
I think we do chat enough not to be dismissed completely out of hand - but pod 3 did have some random moments on it, we're well aware of it. And we're embracing some structure and organisation in preparation for the next one. If I'm honest, its been chaotic at times but it will come good.
Baby podcasters, we'll mature. You need to remember, none of us our professionals and we have to make the mistakes as to know how to avoid them next time round.
We just want to find our groove naturally.
I'm about as certain as I can be that once we have our Spurs season under way, we'll be unmissable.
Everything that Spooky just said.
I really hate to say it but... Go listen to some other football podcasts. Whistleblowers, the Spurs Show... maybe you could take a few tips from those.
