Make 'em smile

David Seaman is apparently finding it difficult to wipe the smile from his face. No, he hasn't just watched the Coen Brothers latest comedy 'Burn after Reading'. Seaman is quite blatantly talking about the plight of Tottenham Hotspur (bottom of the league, if you've not been following the soccer recently). He also revealed (to Jeremy Kyle on TALKsport) that Ramos needs to learn English. Cutting edge stuff this.

It's behind you!

Ronaldinho in Japan in the World Cup. Nayim from the half-way line in a European final. Gascoigne from 35 yards at Wembley, in the FA Cup. About time he found something he could smile about.

Glad the Spurs could be of service David. Now if you don't mind....vete a la verga o vete a la mierda.

Boo who?

Ashley Cole, last Saturday, was booed by England fans due a howler that presented Kazakhstan with their single goal in their 5-1 defeat. Some people (the deluded cretins on Sky’s Football Supplement) would have you believe that the reason was due to most of Wembley’s crowd being made up of Spurs and Arsenal fans. Yes, the journalists of England are truly champions of the truth gently stabbing you in the back of the head with their truthness fork.

Cole is, at a basic fundamentally level, a personification of the modern game. Arrogant, greedy and a cheat. The very epitome. Any other England player would not have got that level of abuse for a single mistake (especially in a game we won so comfortably), but Ashley is a special case.

You might argue that a minority booed, and the majority actually tried to drown out the booing with cheers. And that the people who did boo are not ‘proper fans’ but day trippers who see football as a pantomime rather than what it should be (in its purest traditional form). Anyone else would not have been on the receiving end of the booing and its harsh. But the media shouldn’t be making it back page news. They should save it for when we lose a game due to a howler and then crucify the player who is considered at fault (as long as that player is not a Big Four© player).

Better luck next time

Countdown to Wembley

Prague tonight. And no such luck of resting all our ‘top’ players like Chelsea were able to do in the Champions League. Nice to see them taking the Carling Cup so seriously. Obviously the game on Sunday is far more important than an away leg in Greece. Although today, there are suggestions that Terry and Lampard won't start on Sunday. Don't believe the hype.

Not certain what Ramos will do tonight, but hopefully he’ll start with a strong eleven, and look towards them killing the game off in the first 45, then take off the key players who will be vital on Sunday.

Robinson might be recalled. Not sure of Kings fitness. 3-0 Spurs.

Yes, I know Robbo will be back in goal. And yes. I'm predicting a clean sheet too. Crack is one hell of a drug.

If we lose, I'll start the 'RAMOS OUT' campaign in earnest.

Jose walks out on Chelsea

In your face, headhunters. The Roman Empire loses its emperor. If he was sacked then its even better. Anything to divert the attention away from White Hart Lane. Having another 'crisis' club dominating the tabloids suits me fine.

Proof that its not just the Director of Football setup that causes problems. Interfering chairman are also a pain in the arse.
