What are you made of?

Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Gallas, Rose, Lennon, Modric, Sandro, Bale, Van der Vaart, Adebayor.

Subs: Cudicini, King, Nelsen, Livermore, Giovani, Saha, Defoe.

What are you made of Tottenham?

A jelly and crisp combo or gritty metal with a sharp point?

Having blown a 12 point lead over the mighty Gunners, turned a 2 nil lead into a pantshitting 5 - 2 humiliation, gone consequently tumbling down the league faster than gravity might dictate possible and seen the cries of " New force in London", "Power shift" and 'arry's bold claims of the title being within your grasp rendered impossibly entertaining by subsequent events, might I suggest dogfood, economy brand.

Same old bottling bunch of wanabees. No class, no history and no prospects of anything other than a once in a blue moon minor triumph to keep you going.

Incredible how one good spanking has sent this sorry outfit reeling and how swiftly the flag waving for and deifying of old twitcher has turned into contempt. News for you lads; you're stuck with him now. The FA don't even want him and you're stuck with a clueless disaster who's main interest in life is lining his pockets any which way and his self confessed inability to write a name on a team sheet.

Mind the gap indeed.

I agree with the Gooners sentiments entirely. And I'm a Yid!

Gooner, is that the gap between you and Man Utd then? How times have changed, eh? Looking behind you rather than looking up. Didn't you lot use to win silverware? Now its all about beating Spurs. Love it, just love it. You've got us back in your lives. We give you meaning.

Enjoy your open day parade at the end of the season nomads.

"No class, no history"

Hahahaha, check the history books lad. Spurs modernised the game in this country with push and run. First club to win the double (proper double), first club to win euro trophy, history of tradition and flair, more success in europe than you've ever had...keep on living off the back of the last 15 years. Its all you've got.

Spurs for life.

Apr 29, 2012 at 4:51 PM | Unregistered CommenterLemming

Of course you do Trev. Most Spurs are now blaming Redknapp. He hasn't got a grip on handling a side like Spurs. Arsenal have got lucky this season. They wont next.

Apr 29, 2012 at 4:56 PM | Unregistered CommenterKilljoy

@ the Arsenal fan - didn't bother read beyond your first line... the only gap u need to worry about is the one you talk out of from between your legs!! sunday morning and you're on a spurs b;og, u closet hommo!!

woss the matter, Arsenal website suffering from too much wan%%%% traffic !? What a dic* head ..

I see bale is playing a ' free from responsibility role ' AGAIN. Even the commentators ' thickos elect ' are even dining on the morsels of scrap that is rednapp ' team selection.

Sandro in for the one trick old pony ' parker '. We will be a much better side next season . Ni need to vent at harry, a real manager will get us back on a genuine upward trajectory !!!! coyfs

@trev - u should be ashamed !!!!!!!

How u could agree with that and in the face of such derision in the presence of scum as well... u can't be serious, no matter the pain u feel, some things 'MUST NEVER BE CONCEDED !!!!!'

Apr 29, 2012 at 5:29 PM | Unregistered CommenterSPURSINCE82

We're 4 points behind them with a game in hand because WE FUCKED IT UP. LOL the drama whores. We've put them in that position. They'll be back to their bin bags soon enough.

/flops hands around like Wenger

Massive Win. Solid performance all round , MOTM was Sandro with an immense shift of tackling-blocking-closing-pressing and all that despite the fact he spewed this morning's fry-up all over the hallowed turf.

Walker, Goal Of The Season. 3 Points. All to play for.

Love The Shirt.

Get a grip spooky, your team finally won! Am sure you forgot how it felt, can you point me in the direction of some of your funniest posts, e.g the one where you had a go at robinson and zokora.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! FA have offered the job to Roy Hodgson!

Apr 29, 2012 at 7:49 PM | Unregistered CommenterWalkerboy

I am having to sit a little on th efence here.... Kind of agreed with parts of the gooners comments... mainly the ones about Harry, I was born and bread inRomford and its the home of WHU fans and they all tried to warn me that Harry was a gold digging whore who had one great trick that always lasts about 2 years and then he fucks off leaving you destitute, penniless and in a worse position than when he found you....
In Jan I was looking up and thinking how these new galactico signings were going to fit into the starting 11!!!! then when you analise I have to conclude the following.
Harry took England job in Jan.
Levy refused to bank roll him on the basis that a new manager will have other ideas.
Harry is a cock and starts causing disent in the dressing room in an attempt to force Levy into letting him go on the cheap
Levy digs his heels in as usual and asks the FA for a trillion gazilllion pounds
FA tell Harry to turn the screws
Harry picks on Bale & Mdric to unsettle and devalue
Levy holds firm
Harry holds firm and dressing room starts to unsettle
60 year old defender who cannot get into the Blackburn 11 joins us
A Man U reject from 2 decades ago who hasnt scored this season rocks up as competition
Dressing room all scream What The Fuck....
We go 2 - 0 up at Arsenal after looking awful and exposed the whole world shouts bring on some strength and tell Bale to stick to the wing like glue..
Harry does Fuxk all as he is trying to wedge his way out.
We celebrate today a 2 - 0 win over the 2nd worst team in the league...
FA start to look at other options
Mourhinio has forgotten we exist
Harry looks like he might stay after all
Swansee Manager sniffs about.

I honestly thought we were going to be top 2 or even a point behind Manchester....

Now i am cheering on a German club in the hope we can snatch 4th place on the last day of the season, cant see past Bolton if i am honest

worst of all

I hate Chelsea so much that i would actualy say i hate them more than Arsenal..

We won and god i am depressed

Hodgson is in the frame for the 'GERRY COTTLES ENGLAND JOB'.Not sure whether to laugh or cry really.. I am nota religious man perse but, I pray and hope that Levy has this rednapp firmly in his barrel sights. Harry will deserve to spend all that money that his dogs bank rolled for him and be chased all the way back to relegation tier management, from which he perennially came.

If he is at spurs next season, i will take my first tottenham sabbatical in thirty two years next season..*fact

@the post above - good observation mate..

Portmouth also preparing to offer Arry the job!!

hang on........ balckburn keeping a close eye on developments!!

Hodgson for England. You couldn't make it up! FA do enough to completely derail Spurs' season, allowing Redknapp to have fun at the centre of his own ménage a un. Wankers one and all!

Apr 29, 2012 at 9:46 PM | Unregistered CommenterHazzzard

Great stuff, Stevo nice one. I think Dan L & Joe L have become perceptive and wary to those they employ in football. If HR doesn't walk into the England breech, then Tottenham, we have a problem. Anything less than total life commitment to Tottenham from HR will cause mayhem.

Apr 29, 2012 at 9:56 PM | Unregistered Commentercdm

Now this Hodgson news surely throw lots of conspiracy theories out of the window. So should he stay or should he go. Looking at the balance of what has been said on this site - presumably sacked? But sacked if we get 3rd or 4th?

Apr 29, 2012 at 10:26 PM | Unregistered Commenterbridgendspurs

You know, after this morning's win, I had about four hours of cheerfulness--my worst fear that we wouldn't win another game this season had not materialized, great to see Sandro play, fantastic goal from young Kyle. Spent the afternoon gardening. Good day.

Now this. Sweet suffering Christ on a crutch, will we never be rid of this man? Adding to the joy, all the harry fanboys are back in force, banging on about 2 points, 8 games, look where we are now, 3rd still possible.

We won a home match against a team that is effectively relegated who didn't even try to play--not a single shot on goal and one lousy corner. And despite over 70% possession, we only scored two goals AND billy big bollocks is still playing where he likes. Happy days are not here again. We've just stopped free falling after two and half freaking months. That's not a blip. That's not a drop in form. That's an utter and complete collapse, complete with changing room unrest and manager claiming certain players have season ending injuries, who somehow manage to play very very well one week later.

"stuck with a clueless disaster who's main interest in life is lining his pockets any which way and his self confessed inability to write a name on a team sheet."

Just because a gooner said it, doesn't mean it isn't true. I pray, literally pray, that it isn't true. If the brain trust that is the FA can cop on to the blag artist that is harry redknapp, why can't levy?

God, I'm so depressed now.

Apr 29, 2012 at 10:39 PM | Unregistered CommenterZiegemonster

2 things
1) Potentially, the FA are doing this so that neither manager can put them in a position about the contract - they probably have Harry in mind considering he's a greedy fuck. Don't be surprised if they approach Harry on Wednesday or so, after interviewing Roy. This will scare Redknapp, and make him less ballsy when it comes to the interview and his contract - good tactics from FA.
2) If Roy does get appointed, and Harry doesn't get a look in, then we should sack him anyway. After Jol and Ramos, who are tactically aware but not particularly great at man-management/dressing room stuff, and then Redknapp, who is the complete opposite, I think we need someone who can do both. Not too much to ask is it?
There's only 2 options in my mind - Louis van Gaal, or David Moyes. Nuff said.

So if Levy offers Harry a contract extension will the Harry Out posters become Levy Out posters ?

Apr 30, 2012 at 1:10 AM | Unregistered Commentercoys

I like what Stevo said and I like what Zeigemonster said, the gunner is a cunt...nuff said. Whether the FA want Knappy rash or not, matters little to me, I just want him out! Take him away! Rodgers, Martinez anyone at all who know's what tactics are and what they're used for.

Apr 30, 2012 at 1:56 AM | Unregistered CommenterBimspur

Somewhat off topic, but related to the way the FA have completely ruined our season: I now have motivation to watch Euros 2012. I will be cheering for every team to pummel and humiliate England--one of the most despicable and loathsome organizations in football. Come on France, Sweden and Ukraine!

"So if Levy offers Harry a contract extension will the Harry Out posters become Levy Out posters ?"

Supsect I will be posting on Bundesliga sites...may well be time to take a little Spurs sabatical.

I'm not a glory hunter. I started supporting Spurs during the mid table mediocrity era, because they were the most enjoyable to watch, because you never knew what would happen, because sometimes the football was meh (generally away) but sometimes it was breathtaking. Because I had no expecatations and it was fun. Because there was always a story, from the players' downing tools under Hoddle against southhampton, to Santini doing a midnight flit and faxing his resignation, to Edgar Davids joining the club, to the steady improvement under Jol, the excitement of that first season back in Europe, to being proud of the team and the manager, because we all loved Martin Jol and we knew that he loved us, to that dodgy Lasagna gutting us all, fans as well as players. Furious when Jol was sacked, but it's not about one man, is it? Carling Cup was great and I just sucked it up when the football that followed was lackluster. I watched every one of those 8 matches the next season, horrible though it was. I acknowledged that, humiliating though it was, Redknapp was the right appointment to make at that time. Your toilet is geysering to the ceiling, you call in a plumber. You don't have to like the man as long as he gets the job done. It's about the club, loving the shirt.

Well, now it seems to be all about one man, Harry Redknapp. My first exposure to Redknapp was during the halftime commentary for some match. I was in a soccer bar in NYC and turned to the guy next to me and asked "who is that nasty prick?" Increased exposure to him has not altered that first impression. The phrase "Harry Redknapp's Tottenham" makes my stomach hurt.

Does anyone here have a favorable view of the British press? Yet they love harry. If this run of results had happened to any other manager, they would be howling for his head. Look how they treated Wenger, who, while clearly a baguette short of a picnic, has had arsenal consistently playing CL, if not actually winning anything lately. They were after Martinez just a couple of months ago. AVB anyone? Why do the press love Harry? Because he puts them first, well ahead of Spurs. Antagonize, demoralize your own players? Undermine your chairman? Sure, as long as it generates that soundbite and further his own brand. It has always and only been about Harry. And I'm fed up to the back teeth with it.

Have Spurs really gotten better or has our competition, the former Sky Four, gotten worse? The year we got fourth, Liverpool were imploding and ManCity had not yet jelled. This year, Liverpool still not recovered and Arsenal and Chelsea in crisis. Over the last three seasons we've gone from a slip to a slump in form to a full blown melt down. In other words, the problem, that's been evident since Redknapp's second season, has been getting steadily worse. A downward spiral.

Look at Redknapp's former clubs--do any of them have a good word to say for him? Hasn't he consistently left them worse off in one way or another? When does loving the shirt become enabling someone well on the way to becoming a crack whore? When does this stop?

Apr 30, 2012 at 4:32 AM | Unregistered CommenterZiegemonster

What a bunch of utter retards!! I for one am well pleased Harry's staying.....now he can get his nut down and plough on!!!! Bolton next........ COYS

Ziegmonster, you started supporting them during, "... the mid table mediocrity era..." ??

Erm, has that ended then? Are these days of glory for you?

Apr 30, 2012 at 8:53 AM | Unregistered CommenterF** Y** C**t

Days of glory? No. Progression? Yes. You've gone from winning silverware to talking about how you use to win silverware and bantering with Spurs fans. We've gone from constant mid-table positions to comfortably playing at the top tier of the Prem. You keep telling us we're shit, right? Look at the table. Handful of points between us. Are these the days of you lot hanging on?
