Sandro to Madrid?

Sandro to Real Madrid? €15 million bid. Pre-contract signed. Internacional haven't (apparently) accepted the bid officially yet but legal documents have been drafted and placed into motion.

I'm not ITK.

I just have nothing much to post at 23:43pm and noticed someone left some gossip on the blog about this potential transfer which I've only just noticed. Would be quite funny (ironic) if the above happened, considering the alleged effort to sign the lad and our supposed 'relationship' with the Brazilian club.

Not all is lost. No doubt Zokora has a buy-back option in his contract if we fail to find another available defensive midfielder this coming summer window.

If anyone spots anything that either confirms or contradicts this (Sandro, not Zokora) then feel free to share.

Spooky after seeing Veloso tear everton a new one,we should go in for him!

We've been 'chasing' Veloso for an age. I know some Portuguese blokes and they reckon he's a bit of a showpony. Good player, decent ability but loves himself way too much.

Tell a lie have just found a story about it on espn brasil. It says the story comes from a catalan newspaper. Also mentions that we have been keeping tabs on him.

Feb 27, 2010 at 1:48 AM | Unregistered CommenterBrazilyid

Well this was what he was reported as saying on 18th feb

Internacional de Porto Alegre 20 year old midfielder Sandro has declared: "There is still the possibility for me to quit International in the middle of the season to join Tottenham. It's all up to the English club, I am waiting for a call".

Belgian Spur has a lot to answer for.

Not like you to post ITK info Spooky?

Feb 27, 2010 at 9:15 AM | Unregistered Commenteralt ctrl del

I guess if this turns out to be true I'll have helped Belgian Spur to gain ITK notoriety. Then again his initials to spell out BS...

/scratches chin

If he's right, then I will officially crown him DML ITK of the Year.

sissoko is the ideal signing but it could be expensive.

Feb 27, 2010 at 1:29 PM | Unregistered Commenterbob

I'm a big fan of Real Madrid as well as Spurs and I don't see Real going for Sandro. We already have Lassana Diarra, Mahamadou Diarra and Fernando Gago. And although Xabi Alonso is not a holding player he is a deep lying central midfielder. DM is not Real's priority, Franck Ribiery is.

Feb 27, 2010 at 1:55 PM | Unregistered CommenterDoglegz

'Cheap headline'

Yeah, cause I need the hits for all the advertising littering the blog.

Cheap comment.

Feb 27, 2010 at 2:53 PM | Registered Commenterspooky

I was in Brasil at Christmas and the buzz on all the football stations was how Sandro did not want to join Spurs.
He has no interest but is being pushed towards Spurs by the club.

He would prefer any other European club but is 100% not interested in joining you

Feb 27, 2010 at 2:55 PM | Unregistered CommenterPeter

We should not buy any players next year because we have some good players in our Accadamy who will be ready to start playing in our Squad .We have players on loan Mason Bostock Townsend Walker Naughton Caulker Dosantos Taarabt Ohara Keane and Hutton. surly if we don't use these and see who can make it we will regret it and how can we compete with Citys millions.

Feb 27, 2010 at 4:15 PM | Unregistered Commenterdavspurs

"'Cheap headline, yeah, cause I need the hits for all the advertising littering the blog."

Me? I'm STILL waiting your next letter to Mr Levy.

The fact you cannot get paid for scratching away trying to embellsh this one trick pony of a blog however, outweighs even the amusement of you defending you being a hit whore.

I clearly taught you well, apart from the 'actually earning' bit.

PS:

To all Spooky's 'Imp'erial Guard: I have 27 different shades of insult primed for adolescent GloryGlory heroes, so do feel free to walk right in and stand on the intellectual trapdoor. Codewords being, 'Mug' etc etc ....

@ Spurs LA
maybe I am a twat mate, but the fact still remains, Sandro was due to fly to London for a medical and decided to go on holiday for two weeks instead. He hardly sounds like a player bending over backwards to join you does it.

Watch a few Brazilan football programs while you are out there and they all talk about his lack of desire to join Spurs.

Hvaing watched the Everton/Sporting match I would mych prefer to have Moutinho at the Lane than Veloso - maybe a bit harsh, as it is just based on a few games and highlights from others, but...

HH calling Spooky a one trick pony. That;s gold that is. Does getting paid to blog make you the best blogger? Er no. Are you a cunt? Er yes.

You've got yourself a stalker Spooks.

Feb 28, 2010 at 1:31 AM | Unregistered Commenterauthor of comment

Yet another spastic meltdown for the world to see. Well done HH. You been lurking in the shadows again waiting for a scrap of something, anything to jump out and make yourself known. Can anyone say INSECURE and DESPERATE?

Fuck off you. Nobody cares what you think.

Feb 28, 2010 at 1:38 AM | Unregistered CommenterKilljoy

Feb 28, 2010 at 1:44 AM | Unregistered CommenterLight and Dark

Am I missing something? Did Harry Hotspur invent football blogging? Father all other Spurs bloggers? Taught Spooky what? Why is he dragging up this shit again?

Did laugh at the imperial guard comment. If anyone hasn't read HH blog, I advise you to do so. You'll get why I laughed in about 5 mins. If you can stomach that much.

Feb 28, 2010 at 12:26 PM | Unregistered Commenteranon

Agreed, can we just avoid / ignore HH when he drifts into this place? Let's get back on topic.

Sandro to Madrid? Wouldn't be a surprise. Have we actually signed a contract with his club regarding player swaps or whatever it's meant to be? We've obviously seen no young Brazilians players turn up on loan to Spurs since this was announced. If it was announced.

Feb 28, 2010 at 3:04 PM | Unregistered CommenterMcKracken

Thing about these deals, is that it's not the club that own the majority of the rights to players, so there's no need for the club to selling club to write anything.

We'll prob wait to see how he does in the WC ,so his value goes up before making the deal. That's how it works doesn't it, at spurs I mean, sign a player just after they've shown their peak performance? And then flog them to sunderland or wigan for the same price when it all goes tit's up.

Feb 28, 2010 at 6:38 PM | Unregistered CommenterTricky

Reading HH's blog is a bit like having a crafty peak at the missus's best mates rack. Most of us have done it at least once, but none of us is proud of it.

i have a lot to answer for ... As i said i am not informed or anything , i am just a low level employee at a sports management firm. We provide legal and marketing counsel.

Most managers we work with do the french market , mostly looking for players in South America. The Sandro rumour is more then a rumour because negotiations are at hand and the contract proposal has been drafted and legally checked.

So kill me if you want ... but we will talk later again in the summer !
