Open invite to Spurs and Arsenal fans to discuss the NLD

No King, Dawson, Woodgate, half-fit van der Vaat, Defoe and Lennon back from injuries blah blah blah...we had the reserves out today.

2-0 down, 3-2 up. Tottenham. Tactical masterpiece that to play so woefully in the first half to allow them a comfortable lead to then carve 'em up in the second. It's how we roll.

Posted in the match thread over at GG.co.uk at half-time. BELIEVE.

Worth a DVD that I reckon. Not of the game, got that on Sky+. Would prefer Two hours of Wenger on the touchline taking a dump and smashing up bottles and the progressive misery gradually appearing on the faces of all the gloating Arsenal fans in the stands. Which reminds me. Gooners who texted/called/tweeted me during the game. Where you all gone chaps? Don't fret, there's always the Carling Cup.

According to Wenger, the scum lost it due to lack of concentration. It's a mystery apparently. Scooby-doo at the ready. Have to agree though, if the game is won on stats, they should have won it. So technically, they did. Congrats. Made up for you.

Anyways, Gooners - would love to hear your thoughts considering you're always willing to share yours when we lose and you lot win. Just an admittance that you're not that great should cover it.

Proper match report on Sunday/Monday. Peace out, enjoy the evening.

I personally didn't think Gallas would of put in that type performance for the "lilly whites"l against the scum.

Well done Gallas. Big time.

Wenger is a fcking complete and utter tosser. I can remember Van Rapsie falling over at the lane a few years ago to get a free kick where Huddlestone was standing near him and them scoring a decisive goal on it. And both Modric and Bale's free kicks had plenty in it. He is a fucking baby and its another reason I love seeing Arsenal lose more than any other team on the planet, in any sport. Fuck it, if Arsenal played Al Qaeda I'd have a hard time being disappointed in a draw.

No tactics 'arry showed that c*nt Whinger how it's done.
End of.
Harry has more guile and balls than Wenger will ever dream of.

So wait, I'm confused- "First have not so good. Second half... good??!!"

Nov 21, 2010 at 7:28 AM | Unregistered CommenterCASpur9

It might be the first time we've beaten Arsenal away in 30 years and a top4 in 400 years but because it wasn't a 3pm ko it means nothing and the premier league will void the result due to not having enough shots or possession.

Don't even get me started on the number of corners we being an even number...points deduction here we come!

Looks lets face facts. Spurs and Arsenal are teams going in different directions. As a life long Arsenal fan it pains me to see what Wenger is doing to our club whilst Harry is a breath of fresh air for Spurs. Yesterday Harry set his team out wrong and paid 1st half. At half time however, he made smart tactical adjustments and substitutions and it paid off. Wenger on the other hand only has plan A and he is unable to respond tactically anymore. I have seen Wenger as a spent force for 3 years now with a tactical awareness that belongs back in the 90's. We leak goals, at this rate projected to 45 against 41 last year and this is after he hand picked two new central defenders and have not leadership in the team. Cesc clearly wants to go and the rest of them are not up to it. Also the failure to land a good goalkeeper for 3 years must rate as negligence in anyones mind. Face it, despite what people say football is a results business and for 5 years Wenger has failed to deliver whilst taking a huge salary. I could not see other clubs putting up with such mediocrity so why must our fans? Wenger out ot out before its too late.

Bravo spooky. An open invite for all the moronic gooners who lurk here to completely embarass themselves. Why gloat when you can let this imbeciled make a mockery of themselves. Some of the crAp I've just read is astounding. And how quiet was that ground from 2-1 onwards. Sing when you're winning or what?!

Nov 21, 2010 at 11:07 AM | Unregistered CommenterFox Mulder

Must say Harry is taking the plaudits and giving himself a lot of credit, but I still think that he ought to plan the first half of games better as this thing of the 'hairdryer' having to be used constantly at half time shows that he and Jordan/Bond haven't a fucking clue how to set their stall out at the beginning of a match.
Why can't we start progressively and do away with this giving the 'Spurs faithful' diarrhoea in the first half and ecstasy in the second half, but, with their boxers already ruined with the first half diarrhoea.
Seriously we need to suss out how to get down to business from the off and stop conceeding all these goals.
Having got that off my chest, I think we will finish above the Gooners this season.

We have a makeshift defense mate.....actually - correction - we have a makeshift team mate, so shit will happen!

One thing we all learn't from yesterday's game is that Chamakh looked like a complete twat in his scarf!

We fielded basically the same as the one that worked so well against Inter. Jenas played the second half against Inter so the only real difference was Pav playing instead of Crouch. But yesterday the midfield did not perform first half and Pav provided nothing further up the field. The reason the pundits are praising Harry is that he delivered the changes at half time to get us our first win there in seventeen years. Good times to be a Spurs fan.

Watched this in an Irish pub in Munich. Unfortunately, the bellend of a landlord decided that the Kilmarnock vs Rangers would take priority on the big screen. And then we had to endure the build up of the Scotland vs New Zealand rugby match, while Spurs silently made history on a small screen in the corner of the bar. Oh well, a handful of Yids savoured a rare victory and I'm glad I stayed and watched it in full. What a fantastic birthday present! Thank you Spurs. Hopefully we'll start singing Harry songs soon...

I am still buzzing! What set of supporters could be more excited about supporting their team these days? The other top three are used to success and not doing that great; Liverpool... enough said; Man City... burden of expectation. The joy these boys have given us in 2010- games like Arsen*l and Chelski at home, Citeh away, Inter at home... even the thrills of almost completed comebacks against Young Boys anf Inter away...perhaps Blackpool fans are also having a great time. But I am so glad to be a spurs fan today, knowing that we may well go and loose to Liverpool next weekend... that's the way it goes at Spurs. But there is never a dull moment and that's what makes it so exciting. YIDOOOO!

Oye Spooky, I read somewhere about Levy wanting to sell the club to some russian or middle eastern sort. If this happens, will the blog continue under the same name? Might be a stupid question, but never the less, one I wouldn't mind being answered.

Don't be harsh on the Welsh, guys. I been supporting Spurs for 25 of my 32 years now. Why would I support Cardiff when Spurs provide this beautiful rollercoaster of emotion? By the way, I am training ninja sheep to infiltrate and destroy Welsh gooners. Amazing game yesterday. Thank us Welsh as, just now and then, we produce beasts like Gareth. Bremen next for the chop. "If my players believe in themselves as much as I do, we can achieve anything."

I understood this comment of Harry's to be almost made with a twinge of sadness, as of a man striving to achieve the improbable. It's as if he had been saying:

'This squad is capable of facing down any team. Individually and collectively they have the attributes essential to success - indeed, they harbour an excess of talents.

'The diamonds you see dressed in Tottenham's colours glitter just as brightly as any others you might see elsewhere. But it's the body they adorn which, though capable of great beauty and finesse, is hampered by doubts.

'If only those inherited doubts - sins of the fathers visited upon the sons (these modern Apollos in lilywhite) - could once and for all be cast aside, then would you see a fine side become a great one.

'Then would you see a union of craft to purpose, of causal self-belief to triumphal effect, of moment and purpose to destiny.

'This' (Harry seems to say) 'is the finest assemblage of players this club has seen for many years; and, given the magical anointment of belief, they can define anew the word 'glory'.

The opportunity is theirs to seize. But they have to BELIEVE - believe that, in reaching, they can grasp.'

So, come on, Spurs. Be seekers of the improbable. There's no fate but the one you shape for yourselves. BELIEVE.

Thank you for the great vids. I wish that us overseas can see more shots like this one.

Also, two bros from N. Jersey had some fun and called it “Arsenal Handbag Wall”, and I almost pissed my pants (hope Spooky wouldn’t mind me posting a link to a competing website)
