2-0 down, 3-2 up. Tottenham. Tactical masterpiece that to play so woefully in the first half to allow them a comfortable lead to then carve 'em up in the second. It's how we roll.

Worth a DVD that I reckon. Not of the game, got that on Sky+. Would prefer Two hours of Wenger on the touchline taking a dump and smashing up bottles and the progressive misery gradually appearing on the faces of all the gloating Arsenal fans in the stands. According to Wenger, the scum lost it due to lack of concentration. It's a mystery apparently. Scooby-doo at the ready. Have to agree though, if the game is won on stats, they should have won it. So technically, they did. Congrats. Made up for you.
Anyways, Gooners - would love to hear your thoughts considering you're always willing to share yours when we lose and you lot win. Just an admittance that you're not that great should cover it.

Wow, such bitter gooners here. Frankly, I still can't quite believe the result, as this kind of epic collapse usually happens to us. I still think Arsenal will finish above us and don't like to gloat, as I'm a firm believer that humility goes a long way, but after reading some of the comments here, I can't help but be a bit glad that the weekend's been ruined for some of you bitter, bitter cunts.

However, even though we aren't great and even though we have no defence, and even though Spurs have spent over £200m in the last few years, you are STILL 4 points below us and will not finish in the top 4. So I guess it's not all bad.

Tony, I think the problem is far deeper than that mate. You are stagnating. Chelsea, Utd also. Whilst everyone else is catching up. When have Spurs in recent years ever had world class players? We have vdV and arguably Modric now. The last few years the Prem has changed. If you can't see it you're as blind as Wenger.
Your issues are far more serious than the ones we might have.
By the way - we had countless missing players out there today re: defence.

You're right, I think Arsenal are stagnating too, many many Gooners have been saying it for at least two years. We are fantastic going forward but can concede goals against anyone, our defence is similar to yours in fact!
There are many of us who feel that we will not progress under Wenger as he is too stubborn to address the defensive issues, but as I say, the good thing is that Spurs are more than capable of losing to anyone as well and that will ensure we stay above you at the very least. The gap has closed but there is still a gap.

One of the Gooners has said it was a joke Cesc didn't get booked for trying to catch the ball when VDV took his free kick. Yet VDV got booked for nothing when he scored...so true....what was the ref playing at? Nice to see some Gooners have a brain.

p.s Jenas was fucking great, very efficient, kept the ball very well for us....as opposed to Modricinho. Hutton is still a defensive liability. Both goals were from his side of the pitch.
You didn't turn up in the first half and we got too casual and switched off. Trouble was you switched back on for the second and we didn't. Despite what the over reactionary Gooners on here seem to think we do have a quality side and there is every liklihood that we will still finish ahead of you lot this season, our losses are just a reflection of the fact that the league is far more even that it was five years ago. Today though you went for it while we were way, way below standard and you won... congratulations.
Interesting point though: Redknapp was about to take off van der vaart for Palacios, handed in the form to the fourth official but then was allowed to change his mind. Is that allowed? Van der Vaart then went on to take the free kick that led to the winner when he arguably should not have been on the field. Not an excuse, as the above paragraph shows, but what are the rules on that?

If you take wages into account as well as transfer fees then the Goons actually spend on average £30m+ per year more than Spurs on players. That's a wage bill of £120m on the likes of Fabianski and Walcott. £120m a season on a team that's won nowt for 5 years. Throw in the fact that Arse have some of the highest ticket prices in Europe and it's not looking that rosy, is it?
In the meantime we've spent well in order to break the 'Top Four' cartel. How many teams have done that? Oh, and we've been to New Wembley on three occasions. And were only one game away from finishing above Arse last season.

One minor point, cant beleive we started with 2 wide players when we know Arse play it down the middle - the middle of midfield was seriously weak today (defensive) its not rocket science!! Jenas was lost!! It took 45 min and 2-0 to realise it and put it right!!!

We were awful all game, just the first half you spud clowns were even worse. second half, you improved, we were still bad and added sloppy to the mix.

Monster performance by William Gallas. One of the best defensive performances I've seen from a Spurs player. Jenas was fanatastic, Took a run into the box at 88 minutes and tracked all the way back at 110% to get at Cecs Fabergas ankles as Arse threathened to counter summed up his performance. Modric looked off in 1st half, 2nd half turned it on. Van Der Vaart is the heartbeat. Kaboul growing into an immense player for us. Hutton, err, well he didn't give up. Lennon is no longer in our first XI. Keep the 4-4-2 for league games. Defoe w. Crouch up front. Bale Hudd Modric VdV in midfield. Jenas and Lennon and Pav providing depth across the midfield and up front.
Let's give this thing a go!
