Is it okay for us to release a DVD?
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 10:30PM
Just putting it out there.
Match report tomorrow, probably, if I find time to come down from the heavens and type up a couple of words although I could probably sum it up in one now:
Bale.
In the mean time, open invite to discuss the game. For the neutrals also, if they want to share their much respected opinions considering they always without fail find the time to visit us on other occasions.
Ooh, I feel a gloat coming on I do do do. Tottenham Hotspur 3 Champions of Europe 1. Chests pumped out people. We did everything right.
Come on you Spurs.
Never a dull f**king moment with this club.
I've got celebrations to be had.

Damien Comolli has joined Liverpool...
Hope he recommends Ramos to the board.
Last night was really only something Spurs fans can appreciate, it encompassed the philosophy of Spurs brilliantly. One goal up against the European champions with ten minutes to go most sides would opt to go for a “what we have we hold” option, we went for the jugular, and that is why Spurs are the greatest entertainers in world football (possibly barring Barca).
To other football people it’s “just” 3 points and a good win, to Spurs fans it is the confirmation of all we stand for.
Still can't get over the result, such an amazing night, loads of fans before and after the game here http://www.winkball.com/walls/AS_tXEVH4Tef/tottenham-v-inter-milan/
COYS!
Happy Days in N17! and everyone (yids) got it right!
3-1, we're going to win 3-1, we're going to win 3-1!
What a change from the FA semi final!
Cloud 9, floating above it all today. Whooo hooooo!
The difference was MIGHTY TOMMY HUDDLESTONE!
Look how we were blown apart last time, yet in this game we looked strong at the back. He tackles with his brain, not like De Jong.
New song for Bale, loud at WHL:
OH WHAAAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN GAARETH!
ALL OUR HOPES AND DREAMS TO BEAR
WHAT A PRIVILEGE TO HAVE A PLAYER
WHO MAKES RIGHTBACKS DISAPPEAAR!!!!!!
BALE! BALE! bALE!!
(to the tune of "What a friend we have in Jesus")
Watched the game on belgian and dutch television , they were speechless about Bale's performance , they really did not know what to say when he ripped open their defence for the last goal ...
well said spurs61
ooh and you guys who were lucky enough to be there created one hell of an atmosphere , i was jealous and proud at the same time ...
first time ever that i did not have to defend my love of Spurs to the non believers , even the gooners came around and were awestruck by the way we played , by the way we dared to play
Match report will be up later today hopefully. Hard to type when laying on the ceiling.
theres the scene in the film 'the incredibles' when dash realised he could run on water...am hoping and praying last nights performance does the same for our beloved team. yeah i said it they were incredible every one a superhero.
like neo in the matrix the rules dont apply anymore.
imagine samuel etoo in spurs shirt...in this formation. we would be frighteningly good. fuck it pav up front on a regular basis...
Breaking news on the Beeb has it that Bale says he's happy at Spurs and will stay for the duration of his contract.
Top player, top professional, top human being.
Will it stop those tosspot hacks from recycling "Bale to XYZ in the transfer window" rumours? Will it bollocks. But I do hope after Arsenal's next match if Fabregas plays well, someone says to Wenger "I bet that's put a few million on his price tag. I bet he'll attract all sorts of bids. When's he off then?"
But they won't, of course.
I have to admit, I am one of those fickle fans, moaning when we are bad, but I see my club like my wife, one minute she upsets me and I start moaning, then on the other hand she makes me so happy and realise why i MARRIED HER, just like my beloved spurs.
I'd marry your wife if she performed like spurs did last night.
I  thfc.
And I am spent.
A big hello to all those still on the wrong side of the hudd debate.
Bale-cony
Bale or I'll chop your head off!
Bale- cancer
The dogs Bale - llocks ?
Itching to see what develops in Jan...........COT
Whoops - where did canada yids post go?
LOL....... It's looks a bit random lads but CY will vouch for my sanity
yeah, good luck with the whole 'one of these inmates will vouce for my sanity' angle.
*vouch
Camolli has gone to Liverpool to "help" them. Hilarious!
I hope for a strong finish on both UCL and PL (say, reaching quarter or semi UCL and retaining fourth on PL) so he can really reassure his future in a lilywhite shirt. I feel always afraid of Mr. Red Nose knocking our door in case of a poor end of season. This lad (and Moddle, Azza, vdV, Hudd...) can lead us to what THFC deserves (in terms of trophies). No mention on the fact he might be an 'attraction' to good players as well (If things keep going the way they are soon players will stop rejecting us).
4 things were key in this game.
1. Same centre back pairing for 3 game in a row. Kaboul and Gallas
2. Hudd was back. He is the Spurs Skipper and needs to remain there.
3. Hudd and Modric are the best central midfield pairing we can have in an attacking ir defending set-up. Thisnk about all the big games we played recently. Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, last night and they held that central midfield birth.
4. What Bale needs to teach Lennon is belief and how to measure that last ball. That was the difference to me when he crosses and anyone else does.
If Cardiff get promoted, Bale will be joinig them.
What the european press said about Gareth Bale.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/nov/03/gareth-bale-hailed-european-press
Once again from the excellent guardian web site.
I vouch for Wisky Tom's sanity. Even if he does spell 'Whisky' wrong. Post is last one on the last page mate.
I love this:
There can be few players faster than him with the ball at his feet. Tottenham have a cyclone on the left wing whose name is Gareth Bale. It was a memorable exhibition of speed and magnificent assists. Bale is bashing on the door of Europe's great clubs. It's years since someone knocked the ball so far in front of himself and ran after it like Bale does. Bale combines the height and build of an 800-metre runner like Steve Ovett with the acceleration and directness of a rugby winger like Bryan Habana. And, when he gets to the byline, he delivers curling crosses like a Brazilian.
Big words? Yes, but that's what Bale is like - easily the greatest sensation in the opening month and a half of the Champions League. Ask Maicon what he thinks after the two exhibitions Bale turned in against Inter. Yesterday he left Maicon for dead and then a wily old fox like Lúcio was left in his wake like someone trying to follow the vaportrail of an aeroplane. Three goals and two assists - against the European champions. His performances have been stunning.
Thanks CY.
