Negredo? Let's hope so

Thought I'd share this from the resident Real Madrid fan over at Rumourwhores.com who obviously knows his La Liga inside out. This is an assessment of Negredo, who is being heavily linked as a soon-to-be Tottenham signing:
He is damn good. Product of the Real Madrid youth system. Should be good in the Premier League, IMO. Big, powerful guy who can bully defenders, win every header and a decent finisher in front of goal. Scored 13 goals in 07/08, 19 goals last season, that too while playing in a newly promoted team. If he adapts quickly, he will be dynamite.
Big mistake to sell him, IMO. Real Madrid needs a striker like him who offers something different up front. I hope it doesn't happen.
Fingers crossed it does then.

You're is a shortened version of "you are" you drop the a because of rules in the English language regarding the use of vowels in consecutive words.

Spurs are going down the same line as last season. We were chasing Arshavin last season, he had agreed personal terms but we could not agree a fee cos that tight fisted Levy was refusing to pay the 20million euros for him,he offered no more than 17mil. so we wasted time, then ended up with Pavlychenko. the same is happening with Huntalaar, whos agent is made it clear that he is interested in coming to the premiership. 20 million Euros is the fee that is agreed with stuttgard (£15.5million). he is also delaying the deal with them in hope a premiership club comes in for him! It also makes me laugh how Harry is coming out and saying that he would only sign player who would improve the squad. So huntalaar would not do that!! It's obvious that we are not going to sign any major player, Just freebies or 4to5 million players. Another 8 to 10 premiership finish next season for us!

Next, from the little we know, Negredo looks like a dyed in the wool Spurs legend signing. As in, under-rated, sharp, technical, fast, lethal in front of goal, wants it badly, two god feet and not afraid to stick his nut out and head a fucking ball now and again.

Reports out of Germany indicate that Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has been in talks with footballing legend Franz Beckenbauer, and is keen on bringing the retired German sweeper to White Hart Lane in an attempt to strengthen his side for a possible big four finish. The 63 year old is rumoured to be interested in the deal, and only a salary for the German is left to be decided. The only setback in the talks so far is that Beckenbauer favors Champions League football, and may consider other offers from Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Barcelona, or the riches of Manchester City. The former Bayern Munich, New York Cosmos, and Hamburg man is just one of numerous Spurs possible signees on a list that includes bringing cut-price striker Dimitar Berbatov back to the Lane after a torrid time at Premier League rivals Manchester United, and a host of ostracized Dutch Real Madrid stars.
Couple of random thoughts:
1-Flamini isn't going to happen.
2-The more I heard about Viera's last campaign the more I'm thinking he doesn't have anything left.
3- I don't understand the Sheffield United duo coming in. Unless Harry figures that he can sell Hutton to Everton and Chimbonda to whoever.
4- strikers, I don't know what to believe. Turning down 14mm quid for Bent is unbelievable, why is he still at Spurs? I would have been happy to get 12mm.
5- I don't know how Keane and Defoe are going to be made happy and successful.
6- I don't know why we need Pav, Keane, Defoe, Negredo, Huntelaar and Crouch which is who we'd have if all the three of the latter join (as we are told they will by the 'ITK's').
For mine, I think Hutton is gone. I think Chimbo is gone. I think the Bent deal is actually done at 14mm. I think Huntelaar is the target but Negredo and Crouch are the fallbacks. I think Pav ends up at Stuggard if Huntelaar joins us. I bet we get that done 3 minutes before the deadline.

i personally see Huntalaar as a more viable option than Young .....but would be happy with either (both in an ideal world)
Concerning Huntelaar , he has plenty of options (stuttgart , marseille , tottenham ... ) but had made it very clear that the PL has his preference , he is a world class striker that made a poor choice last year

Nobady is 'ITK' this summer by the way and I think that is a decision made by the club to be more careful. Everyone knew we were in for Bentley last summer which I think added a couple of million quid to his price. I find it quite refreshing that no-one knows anything this summer. Saw Spurs at Peterborough last night for the first time since Blackburn at home last season and I have to say Bent looked better than Pav, JD looks well up for it, Jenas is better than everyone in midfield apart from Sgt Wilson and Chimbonda was made to look very average. Again.
