Another brick in the wall

Considering the depression off the back of the Easter games you'd think this particular episode (#38) of The Fighting Cock would be one of misery. It's not. We are pulsating and marauding down the left flank with beastly rampage rather than lost roaming through the middle with the look of a rabbit in the headlights. This week we've got:

Dan the Drum II guests, as we look at the 'bring back the drum' crusade along with the appalling atmosphere at the Lane.
We've all got a semi for the FA Cup in yet another Wembley appearance.
Rickipedia astounds once more with some brain haemorrhaging facts.
We look back and poke the Sunderland and Norwich games with a stick.
Windy drops yet another A-Bomb of mushroom cloud yoof knowledge.
3rd place and no FA Cup or FA Cup and Europa League? Jeremy Paxman, eat your heart out.
Harry and 'that' England job. Do we even care any more?

And we explain exactly how to kill a monkey in the wild armed only with a biro.

This is The Fighting Cock.

In the studio: Flav, Spooky, Ricky, Charlie and Engineer Al - with guest Dan the Drum II.

As a loyal Spurs supporter for forty years I find myself once again wanting to stick my head down the toilet and for someone to pull the chain. Over the forty years of following the mighty Spurs I have had some brilliant times watching them and thoroughly enjoyed the ups and downs following them. However after Spurs made the Champions League, which was brilliant, I was really looking forward to Spurs pushing on, bringing in some quality signings and really thought this is it...we are back. Since that time I have felt very let down not only by some of our performances but by the lack of ambition in the transfer market the powers that be have shown. OUr transfers, or lack of, have left most Spurs supporters dumbfournded, I am pretty sure I am not alone. I have to blame Harry Redknapp for this because his criteria for purchasing players seems to be, 1) The player has to have proven Premier League experience. 2) The player has to speak English. I say this because Dos Santos never gets a chance. 3) The player is always past his prime and Redknapp always thinks he can get that bit more out of them. 4) He will buy young players but they are never ready for the Premier and so get stuck away on loan or just kicking their heals somewhere. 5) Redknapps knowledge of foreign players is non existent. Look at the players we have missed out on. Suarez, Dalmaio, Huntelaar, Milito, Rossi, the list goes on and on.
Who has Redknapp bought besides Parker that has had any impact on the team? Who is responsible as well because Redknapp always claims never to know anything and always says "Daniel is dealing with it".
Unless Spurs really push on in the summer with some quality we will be left behind and will return to mid table if we are lucky.
I would not mind if Spurs bought back Comolli to find some talent but not necessarily in any other role just purely to bring in talent. Levy seems lost when it comes to transfer dealings and considering with everything else going on at Spurs how does he fit that in? I have no objections to Levy doing the negotiating but where is the source at the club for finding talent? Our talent spotters at Spurs seem hopless. Redknapp is out of his depth and has no clue so if he stays let him just manage the team. Let Levy get on with club business but bring someone who can find young talent or any quality. Newcastle seems to find talent so what are our guys doing?
I am sorry if I sound negative but would like to know what is going on and what concerns me is talent coming in and some of the tactics Redknapp is employing.
