Transitional? What are you on about spooky? It's Redknapp's 4th season in charge with only a couple of additions this season. Next year will be transitional when he's replaced.

This is the reason why the word is a head fuck.

Arguably, Spurs have been in transition since Redknapp arrived - from inconsistency to consistency. What I was agreeing with is the principle that like City last season, transcended from 3rd to 1st (this season) we are also gaining new founded belief (start of season, we thought it would be difficult to break into top 4 again). Perhaps progression is a better tag for it than transitional as transitional appears to be over-dramatised when used.

I tend to hook onto the fact that we are not that far off from being serious title challengers. More so than our efforts thus far.
