Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 12:19AM I forgot to write up a 10,000 word preview of the game. So, I guess I should say something poignant in it's place. I don't have anything poignant to share. So I'll just think of something ad-hoc and hope it brightens up your bandwidth, although you're probably better spent clicking on a more enticing headline selling you the latest ITK.
Did Villas-Boas say 'aggressive' in his post-match interviews on Friday relating to the 433 morphing into a more balanced 4231? I love that world. Aggressive. I love seeing teams play with aggression. Bullying and slapping the opposition with an essence of suitably humiliation. Hey, if it works for the American porn industry then why should football be any different? Let them get choked up. Too much right?
We are still without a truly creative playmaker but we have Sigurdsson and we have van der Vaart and sacrificing one of our holding midfielders (that's you Jake) to accommodate the both of them might just give us enough spark to carve open WBA. We're at home. Adebayor is back. Ledley is making an appearance at half time. Villas-Boas home début. Sing up, sing up. Love the shirt and the swashbuckle.
Get it done, then with any luck we'll be welcoming three new players before the window closes giving us that extra shine of quality to push on.

No reason to be positive. Being a Spurs supporter is absolutely terrible. No matter what glimpses of hope we are shown, somehow we always get let down. Why is Van Der Vaart in limbo right now? He has been a consistently one of our top performers. Yes, he can go absent in matches, but what makes AVB think the young, untested Siggurdson can perform much better? Why can't he be play center mid in the same way Modric did? He is often found dropping into those areas throughout the match anyway, and regularly plays there for the Dutch national side. Why, oh, why is Big Tom getting the boot? I don't know if anyone remembers this, but the best I've seen Spurs play in the Premier League era was with him operating in the center of the park in 2009-2010. Why have I heard that Dawson is getting the axe? He was absolutely incredible in 2009-2010, and could be at least a better cover for Vertonghen/Kaboul than William Gallas, who I believe is past his due date. Why, oh, why do we continue to employ a 4-4-1-1, 4-2-3-1? The best I've seen Spurs play was with a 4-4-2, with Defoe and a bigger target striker (who will now be Adebayor instead of Crouch) in support. Why doesn't Levy provide the funds to bring in the talent required to get us over the hump? So many questions, so little answers...

Sigudsson is hardly untested, everything he has done for Reading and Swansea has been great.

the problem with spurs is, with have 1 of the best starting 11 but that just it. looking at the bench is the problem and god for bid we get any more injuries or tried players who can replace them, JJ(no f**king way) he cost us 2 point at west brom. VDV can only play for 60min max. no cover for Bale or AL so they can play how they like cause there no 1 2 replace them. look it was a good thing dawson didn't leave as Kaboul out for 4 months. and am sick to deaf with the way Mr levy sorting out tranfers. can he not see the way he go's about it, his not saving or making money this way. 1st of all we throw away the first 3-5 game at the start of each season cause the team not ready and the new have to gel. REMEMBER we miss out of CL by 1 POINT. u work it out and LOOK what is he doing again. 2nd we have to pay more or miss out. if u like at some of the tranfers by some of the PL club. they are buying top player for under 10m but he want players that are 20+ and will only leave for CL club. a big waste of time. 3nd stop taking the p*** with ur bids. if u pay the 15m for L Damiao last yr he would be here but u want to pay 10-12m and if we want him it will 20-25+. deals like VDV don't happen all the time. so if u want SPURS the club u say u support. sort urself out cause ur starting to look like that KING WITH THE MAGIC COAT. they can see u coming.

The Lloris deal has collapsed because Levy redid the bid originally accepted and nearly halved it? Remy doesn't even want to come here! What is going on in Levy's head? Help me to understand what Spurs paid 15 mill for Dembele if he cannot start ahead of Siggy ....Siggy was a star in teams full of clowns, dembele has being playing in Premier League not on loan but on merit and excelling...and no shit about setelling into systems as if that the case spurs should stop playing fro next month, play warm ups and then restart..
Hve you noticed the only teams excelling at the moment is the settled ones..WBA, EVerton, Newcastle, and Yes Chelsea Chelsea..and no i am Spurs thru and thru.
Daniel Levy probarly does not read any of this so unless SPurs Fans take Action for him to see theri importance and as a result influence the direction of the team..its going to be hello modtable and we once again be back to being happy to playing around in Europa version of europe and a Fa cup here and there. Please tell me how Spurs could not have had Dembele in Place Prior to Modric leaving for the firt 2 game..surely surelythey could have at least afforde him..Moutino...AVB knows them inside out...how can Levy ignore this and not use hom in negotioation...As a Spurs fan i have sat thru the last six-8 windows looking for the "special 1/2" and generally its special buisness..
Owners and Chairmen ike levy have lost touch with what the team and its sucess mean in the long run and its about uniting peopl, people enjoying them selves , feeling part of the team...the team should play for the supporters not Levy...We should stay away a couple games and see how much Levy would sundelly care and start amking better decison ..
I am hoping i am wrong ,really, I am still suffering abuse from other etams supporters after last sean shit slide but soon we will stop sliding and end up in the sewer...remeber when Ramos almost put us in teh championship...well some how i fear where he failed AVB will suceed wait and see.
