Thick and fast
What do we want from our players in Tuesday nights FA Cup replay? I'd say something comparable to the tempo of the first game against Bolton (before it all ended in the 41st minute) without the defensive lapses and surrendering of too much possession with additional confidence collected from the 0-0 at Stamford Bridge. Harry will no doubt tinker a little but I'm hopeful of a strong line-up and a win. It will no doubt be emotionally charged, plenty of Fabrice chanting in unison from both sets of fans but when the poignant moment is over everyone's focus and support will be for the football being played. Honour the lad and his recovery with a ding dong cup tie.
Bolton will be fired up. As for us, two successive draws in the league is hardly glory football but its a stepping stone for momentum. We've got to reclaim that winning mentality and we've got to rediscover that bullish swagger we've lost. One game at a time, but with so few left every game has to form part of a tapestry of tenacity.
No pressure then. They're coming thick and fast. Potential semi-final against Chelsea awaits and going on the game we just played against them its not too far fetched that one or two knees will go a little trembley with excitement. But first and foremost Bolton Wanderers.
Silverware + top three would crown off a crowing season even with our recent choke.

Will be travelling tomorrow and not back until Wednesday night. I might have to make do with Twitter to follow the game. Sad times.

Beat Bolton and Chelsea and then Everton in the final. Piece of piss. And 3rd place to top it off:-)
I really don't want to see any tinkering from HR, we have to play our strongest possible line up, the season is almost over we are not in Europe but have a massive chance of silver wear and CL football for next year, I thought Gallas looked good on Sat the only change would be to play Lennon if fit... Bale on the left, Lennon on the right.... pace, pace and more pace thats when we are at our most dangerous. good to see that corners may have been practised on the training ground, it was a total non event in the first half against Chelski but we were by far the better team in the 2nd half and really should have won the game.
Yes its great news about Muamba and it looks as if he is well on the way to making a recovery, but we now have to be ruthless for 90 mins and put them to the sword.... I honestly believe that if we win this one we can beat the Chavs at Wembley and set up a well overdue FA cup final appearance after a 21 year absence. COYS !
Yes yes more corner practise please,i reckon we'd get 20 more goals a season if we did,we rarely capitalize on corners considering we tend to get loads every game,Kaboul,Adey,Bale,King all need to be up there using their heads with defoe modders lennon banging in the rebounds!!!
Football at it's highest level, is competitive and when played according to rules it's outcome is decided by skill, strength, or luck. At this the highest level 1% luck can earn a team 3 points... We have been short of luck.
Ive just read that HR is looking to freshen up his team for the visit of Bolton tomorrow night... BOLLOCKS !! WTF OK CC in goal i can live with that as he as played all our cup games but Ryan Nelson, Danny Rose, HR are you having a laugh, are you telling me that our highly paid professional players are unable to play 2 games a week FFS we are hoping to be in CL next year i do believe that means playing 2 games a week with a full strength team... our top players only tomorrow night please nothing less we need to win this game end of. COYS !
This is a stupid question but how does this work when a FA cup tie is abandoned? Do they begin the game in the 41st minute with the score 1-1? COYS! Defoe and Ade up front.
FA cup please!!!!!! how i want to celebrate that so bad. so i would rather not drop to 5th, but if we can beat chelsea for both 4th and FA, i would be most pleased.
Really looking forward to this game and it's great to hear that Fabrice is doing well, I agree with previous comments regarding 'Arrys team selection, and I'm also hoping that he does not make too many drastic changes. As long as we start the match with the correct attitude and play to our strengths we should be ok imo........"Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur."
@ Mikey S - It starts 0-0 at 0 minutes
Defoe is a must. I felt that he should have been brought on against Chelsea, if that Ade chance would have had fallen to him, we would have been walking away with a wonderful 3 points from Stamford Bridge for the first time in god knows how many years. However despite that heart breaking miss, he did have a good game, and he was more creative on the left than Gareth was (Please explain what that was about). So Ade and Defoe up front please 'Arry. Hopefully he'll play a strong midfield too, as a Wembley return would be lovely, and will give us another go at the bunch of oldies from West London. However he will have one eye on Sunday, which I am predicting will be a pretty tough game... COYS @DLJ88
Danielle....If Defoe had Ade's chance he would have been offside.....like he normally is. Ade's goals will come again soon, don't worry about that.
Tomorrow show respect but then be ruthless.....
ade has no first touch at all, it is letting the whole side down right now, minute it goes to him, it bounces off him and we lose possession! harry is getting on my nerves right now ill be honest. all this players dont care whos in charge crap dont rub with me! im friends with a couple of the players and can tell you right now it does effect them! massively! harrys public rants are all trying to set himself up for the england job and not in the interest of tottenham hotspur. his tactics and drive have been awful lately!
do we even practice set pieces in training? i will ask the players personally, but our set pieces are awful too, infact worse then awful!
Harry, put your heart into winning the FA cup, for us hungry for a decent trophy football club.it shouldnt be concentrate on 1 thing in particular, we should now be going at every game 100% that we have no matter what it is! even if you concentrate on it 50% as much as you do the england job!
harry quote 1... "who wouldnt think about the england job, its best job in football for an englishman"
harry quote 2... "ive not even thought about the england job to be honest, not given it a second thought"
by half time, we will be 3 nil up and we can start playing chas n dave
Just had a dreadful thought as I watched Martin Jol speaking after Man Utd game. I sensed a line of karma which sees Jol's Fulham beating Spurs on the last day to push us into 5th spot. If that happens would it be Daniel Levy's Fault?
I realised that Big MJ spouts some bollocks sometimes...... Whilst I agreed with his comment that if it's not a penalty then it's a yellow card for the dive, or it's a penalty and a red card for Carrick. I'm pretty certain that Ferdinand was coming across to cover, so Carrick wasn't close to being last man.
As for tonight, could be an interesting game. We shouldn't be making major changes unless there are players already injured.
I actually think Bolton will be more up for it than we are and will at least take us to a replay.
That was AWFUL sentence structuring by me..... I guess that happens when you have to do some urgent work mid-flow!
Look out Gooner tw*ts. We are right behind you and we are coming for you. Enjoy 3rd while it lasts!
Good performance last night, but just imagine what we'd do if we had a Van Persie or a Rooney!!
Admittedly, other than a staunch rear-guard action, Bolton didn't really threaten to get any sort of result.
Interesting to see how we do against a Swansea team who like to play football in a similar fashion to us.
Adebayor has been the big difference in our attack all season.
Last season was a 9 month long catastrophe for our strikers. They could not hit a cows arse with a banjo. They were an embarrasment.
This season Ade has occupied both centre halves and held the ball up unselfishly like a champion making our attack tick. Pity we did not Saha in the summer too as they have the makings of a partnership.
Anyway Swansea are a not to be underestimated. Outside of the top4 they are the side I would least like us to play next. 1-0 will do fine.
