The animal from the swamp wiped the mud off its face and proceeded to bite a massive chunk out of the mid-drift of it's hunter, feasting on it until he bled out. The attacker attacked, left for dead. The colour red covering his pale white face. This is what happens when you only shoot to wound and not kill. Aim for the head not a limb.
The game was almost a throwback to the early 2000s. Gutless. Lack of full blooded commitment. No sustained tempo. Take the lead, let it slip. And so on. That new founded mental belief evaporated and was replaced with jelly for brains. When you make Theo Walcott look good you know it's been a fairly catastrophic day. No doubt on the plane for the Euros off the back of that performance. You can't even laugh at the irony, what with one or two home fans seeking the exit at 2-0, ye of little faith, singing negativity one moment and positivity the next. How fickle football is. I much I hate it at times like this.
It means more than three points but for the moment, we'll have to be contradictory and just treat it like that's all it means. You wont be able to get away from them now. Probably the first time in a year or so that they'll pleasantly remind you of their existence.
Did we expect that result? Of course not. Neither did they. Pundits and fans - based on form - thought the team in white would have too much for the team in red. Form thrown completely out of the window, what a cliché, what an obvious twist to the story. What a disappointment. What a humiliation. Can only hope this is an isolated blip, a spike for them, a dip for us.
I guess being favourites in the eyes of most played straight into their hands. This game, excluding the two against the Mancs at the start of the season, is the first time a strong Spurs side has been spanked. It's taken us to the end of Feb to finally get dicked. Perhaps the first true disappointing performance of the season. Boy do we pick 'em. Topped off with a sending off just to apply some extra pressure for the next game (Utd at the Lane). Scott Parker imploding. Somewhere, Chuck Norris laughs out loud.
Players need to take themselves back to when it was 2-0 and truly appreciate the footballing suicide that followed so that this ilk of surrender never happens so easily again. We should never be arrogant and carefree. It doesn't suit us. Players and fans alike. Even at 2-0 something did not sit right (aside from the fact it should have been 1-0, hey Gareth?).
Should have stepped it up, ruthless and relentless in mind and body after the opening five minutes. The players need to take themselves back to the moment of collapse. They need to hurt off the back of this as much as we are hurting. They're not alone either. Tactically it was a cluster capitulation of crap. Too deep. Not enough width. Not enough of Lennon. 442 leaving us too exposed. Thoughts of Sandro. Hindsight, how you tease me. I can't be alone in noticing them lot were not too bright in defence either, when we did manage to apply forward movement. They displayed spirit and guile. We didn't. Oh 'Arry, what went wrong? Arguably his worst day as Spurs gaffer.
Failed on the pitch, failed on the chalkboard.
We gift wrapped the game by simply being present without a worthy enough presence. Always a danger, even against a wounded animal that wants to prove to the world it can still run. I said this would be a potential issue in the build up to the game and thanks to the complete lack of footballing karma, the Gods persist in favouring the past rather than looking towards the future.
I have to be deeply philosophical about this. Sure, everyone is dishing out spankings to each other (ooh) and at times you can argue they go against form and stature based on what's transpired this season. And one game does not define a season or a team. I love how football works. One bad performance and one good performance and everything that happened before is no longer relevant, even though it all goes back to normal a week later.
Still doesn't excuse what happened. Can't say I'm happy, can comfortably admit to being numb and dumbfounded. It hurts. More so because its a loss against a broken Arsenal side that will probably go on to lose in the coming weeks and deem this result nothing more than a moral victory. Which is still hardly acceptable. Expectancy is an ugly thing. We never wanted to accept defeats against them when we were rubbish for near enough a decade but we accepted the reality. It's equally difficult to accept what's happened today when we've been London's top side all season.
They will no doubt use this as a catalyst to turn it into a season defining performance (although quite how their persistent problems can be repaired off the back of one win is anyone's guess). Much like we need to use it as a catalyst to come back from this and regain our swagger and confidence. It was nothing more than an anomaly, right? Defending all at sea, key players lost in drowning waves. We made it easy for them, yeah? Water bottles on the sidelines no doubt grinning with relief as smugly as the one that usually torments. Today tormenting us instead. Let's please just get back to the basics.
Typical Spurs? No. Just a reminder that even a side that's embraced momentum and progressed forward through out the season can still be susceptible to having its mouth smashed out of place.
It probably is typical Spurs, doing it the hard way, making sure we suffer here and there. It's probably why we remain so consistent with our support. Always be prepared for the worst because it has a habit of turning up uninvited.
The battle, today, has been lost. The war is about to begin. Not with them. But with the remaining games we have to contest. We just have to prove it to ourselves by dismantling the our opponents. The result might end up doing them more harm than good in the long run, papering over the cracks. They were not meant to defeat us so effortlessly. But to cite that catalyst again, it's not unknown for such results to galvanise a side against all the odds. Let this be a warning.
There was no masterful tactical genius at play. Just application. They made it happen, we allowed it to happen. It hurts even more for us thanks to those heightened expectations we took into the game. It hurts even more because we should have gone in 2-0 at the break. It's pretty much the most ridiculous of outcomes that no one predicted.
We now have to prove we remain the better team across the season by manning the **** up showing some of that seasoned tenacity that has kept us top three for so long and see this run-in through.
We'll sing for the shirt, the players will play for it.
The most poignant thing I've read in the aftermath is being written off for 4th spot after losing to Pompey in the semi-final of the FA Cup a couple of seasons back. That side was up against a gruelling fixture list, bare bones and backs to wall. We are far more equipped for a response this time round. In defeat, we have to make it that we are the ones that are galvanised.
The second most poignant thing shared was that our defeats are sporadic. Our rivals, in defeat, are systematic.
Don't knee jerk.
Still third. Still in our hands.
Just believe.

Nobody likes to see that.
Money doesn't buy you class.
the first season that I can remember the games against the gooners are not season defining, we have bigger fish to fry. don't doubt my hurt at losing today, it's just that I'm looking at the bigger picture. a 3rd place finish while not guaranteed remains wholly in our hands.
It's funny (not so ha ha funny more hmm funny) that they are buzzing off this result, a consequence of them beating a team they were not expected to beat. In the past beating us was seen as a given. I think most of them are quite surprised at the ease of the victory. The same way we are quite shocked by it.
We need to get back to playing Bale on the left and Lennon on the right. It is the width that has served us do well this season. This Bale free role needs to be knocked on the head. It should be a plan B. No shape today at all.
Brilliantly put. The worst thing for me is that for a decade they've earned the right to verbally stick it up us. For once we've been able to give it back and now they've got ammo for another decade on the back of one capitulation. This is meant to be our best team since the 60's and their worst, yet somehow they've not only spanked us, but done it coming from a couple of goals down.
We win with fast wingers who create space and allow our passing game (which was non-existent today) to flourish. Can't blame the pitch as we did v. Stevenage. We missed Lennon. Maybe Harry will tell us half the ream was suffering from the flu.....or bad lasagne.
The performance was a bit of a throwback today. After the discipline we've shown in defence over the last 18 months or so it was a shock to see us so disjointed and ragged. Begrudgingly, they deserved it. Love Bale, but stay on your feet lad. The previous 25 games don't lie, just a blip.
Bale is only young and learning but trying to play a free role from the wing has left bae terribly exposed. Hopefully we can learn from this, redknapp will hopefully now see when in certain games players need to be more disciplined.
I thought it was fair enough to start niko but Lennon should have come on in the second half.
I don't feel anywhere near as bad as the city last min defeat. We still have an awesome team but a lot to learn
All I'm hearing from these gooner c*nts is, "form is temporary, class is permanent" and it is f*cking me right off!!! I'll refrain from knee-jerking but my emotional compass has gone on the fritz today for sure. Fact is we didn't get so many points ahead by fluke so, hopefully from here on we can consolidate and build. Don't feed the trolls.
Nicely dressed-up Spooky and trying for the positives, but the truth is,imo, that we have ridden our luck during the first-half of the season with good results from poor performances....Wigan, Newcastle, West Brom, Swansea, Chelsea...all games where we got lucky.
Now it could be that our luck has run out. Today's performance wasn't just poor it was obscene and Harry should follow Mick McCarthy's example and apologise to us fans...he won't of course.
This was like a boxing match where the challenger pulls out at the last minute and the substitute is told to score a few points early-on and then let the champ win. 2-0 up, by whatever means we should have been right in their faces and gone for the jugular but no we let them play.
I can only hope that now Parker is out the way for a few games it will give Sandro the chance to get his game back to his normal high standard and that Harry will let Lennon out of the box so that we can really fly at teams. All the talk about defensive MF's and how essential they are is IMO overrated if you want to dominate games. Harry always says football is a simple game well here's a simple philosiphy Harry...attack as a team, defend as a team. CM's need to be box-to-box, have an eye for a pass and the ability to score goals. We might start to see that with Sandro unless he is told to stay-put.
I just hope this isn't a Bell-curve season again and we're on the down-slope, but IMO we haven't been worth the hype we've been getting all season and this performance is not that atypical.
We'll be fine mate. I think its easier to be negative in light of what's happened.
Re: Bale
Opinions on this? Dive or the right to dive?
Gibbs and their scummy keeper?
Redknapp must be fired with immediate effect. Fuck off to England you twitching cunt. Always knew it'd end in tears with that cunt like it has at every club he's "managed". Whatever shite he comes out with PR wise his mind has clearly been on the 3 Lions job for the last few weeks meaning he's become a liability & us a laughing stock. Same old fucking Spurs! I've got fucking work tomorrow lobbing shite around a warehouse all day surrounded by Arsenal cunts. It's like trying to nail jelly to the ceiling with Spurs. Real Gary Speed territory tonight...

P.s. MCFC is my cunt mate taking the piss out of me...need another can
Bale looked to me in the replay to be clipped ever so slightly. Didn't matter in the end, I think he needs a game on the bench, getting too full of himself. Totally switched off after the 1st goal and as much as it pains me to say it (only name i've ever had on the back of my kit) Ledley needs to retire or go after this year, he can't handle pace anymore. Also I am hoping we don't sign Ade in the summer, he is lazier than Berbatov with a lot less skill.
I think that only Bale knows if it was a dive, but he's not alone in doing it. Gibbs dived in with momentum in the direction opposite to the way Bale was going and I did think he was touched. Just like tap tackles in rugby it doesn't take much to bring someone down. Szcezny did not touch him. Bale should pass a lot more than he does. Basically, Harry got the line-up wrong: I can't figure out why we didn't have Sandro from the start. In fact, why we didn't just study what Milan did to them is beyond me! We need to stop believing the hype and yes Harrygate is becoming an issue.
Sweetsman
were not the same without lennon, without the width we dont stretch the oposition around to allow space for our passing and possetion. also think that the players have seemed a bit smug lately and need to regain the hunger. big test for harrys managent skills. lets hope this isnt the start of the collapse we were all dreading.
Bang on Spookster. Nicely put. Time to stand up and be counted. COYMFS
Firstly Harry messed up big time, Instead of worrying about what some supporter was shouting at him he should of been switching his team to a more defencive set up after going 2-0 up!!!!Lennon & Bale are the reason were 3rd,"Speed kills" everyone knows this and its our main treat,WHY werent they playing in there postions???Adyebaor was muck today,he was more interested in hugging and talking to ex teammates(what a waster) dont know how he was kept on that pitch......we have been given a lesson by our biggest rivals today and it hurts,Where was the fight in us?......2 nil up.....were about long enough now to know what to do......This isnt the first time this has happened........Old Trafford a few seasons back, Bent and Modric, 2 up again and we go on and let in 5,our excuse was they got a soft penalty!!!......Whats the excuse today against a poor enough Arsenal team,YES its a derby and they were up for it,But why were'nt we??? I would not be willing to pay any wages to our players or management this week for that performance.......it would make them think twice about not putting in the effort the next time........Dont know why people are saying for Bale to stay on his feet, anybody who has played soccer, sunday pub league to champions league would have done the same thing, and if the say different the are telling lies!!...............PS The fa cup is what will take some of the pain away from this so you's better go and win it Tottenham, because when you retire you show the medals you have won,not the places you have finished in the league(3rd & 4th not good enough).
The hungrier team won it, so we can't complain.. the starting line-up to me, didn't feel right, (me and my brother disagreed, as Saha scored)so I held my opinion down. Then, that was it, they over-ran us all over the park and my fear that we needed to stick with the bread and butter shape that has served us so well all season, came true. Newcastle reserves, were not a very good measure of what we needed to do today.. we won the game against the scum in sept with a great midfield performance, but opted for the ' dice-roll ' instead and lost badly ( whats happened to parker the last couple of games he doesn't know what to do when the ball is at his feet ?! )
It's been a good season on the whole, so we should keep a balanced outlook on all of this really.. by the way, ' the king ' has lost a little of his pace and movement lately and is looking a little battle-worn ..
This new ' free-role ' of Bales, is costing us badly. It wouldn't be so bad if he was a natural in that part of the pitch, but he clearly isn't., (drives me up thew f***** wall watching it)
lets get prepared to get back in to winning ways!!
coyfs
Regarding gooner cunts and their constant use of "form is temporary, class is permanent" I just agree with them 100% then suggest to them thats the reason they so worried about our reemergence over the last few years. As sickening as it always is to lose to that shower of sex offenders we are a better team now and as hard as it is to lose this game it is only one game. We have now got a class enough team to ensure we finish as the top London team statistically (as we all know we are morally anyway) despite today. Its the Spurs way to do things the hard way. Its not gonna be an easy ride as we are still on occasion prone to the ridiculous rather than the sublime but remember form is temporary, class is permanent and being the top team in London still in OUR hands. Oh and we can win the F.A cup too
Spooky, monumental as always.
I appreciate the clarity your writing when it brings into focus the pain of stirrings i cannot quite understand myself !
good post -- Irish Yid
i hated that paly stuff ade was up to, and please stop the Crouch 'goofed up' grin! he's not worth breaking the bank for IMO.
Always feel DaveK is right when he says he still gets nervous before games (just in case the 'old' Spurs turn up). Well the old Spurs turned up today. After Spurs scored the second goal and Arsenal stepped up their game, the old Spurs immediately emerged. Friedel was looking at his defence as though he couldn't recognise them. He was spooked out at them. They lose their confidence so easily this team. Parker's stern stuff seems to have evaporated and Sandro deserves a run. Ade is a waster. He only has 10 or so goals and that's not enough for a £170k a week striker. Bale is a 'LMF' and he should stay there and help out his LB and stop wandering all over the place. Lennon has to get a run and, let’s be frank, King needs to retire, immediately.
Spooky, much as I enjoy your articles and appreciate the best blogging site on the entire internet, you sound like ' a boy whistling in the dark to me tonight'. The truth is that harry didn't prepare this team for today’s game. He has other things on his mind. He needs to decide now what he's doing, going to manage England or staying at WHL. This will damage the rest of the season and I don't personally that we can win the FA cup or qualify for the CL unless he makes his mind up publicly and, either steps down or commits fully to Spurs. We are a Premiership Football Club, with millions of pounds depending on 'concentration, commitment and 100% effort. We shouldn’t allow one of our workers to see through the remainder of the season unless he's fully committed, because if we do it will 'rub off' on the team and it already has.
So Mr Redknapp, it's make your mind up time. Spurs or England. If it's England let’s get him out of here and a replacement in.
What is wrong with Redknapp and no tactics they were there for the taking yesterday! Sort it out Harry or fuckoff to the England job, just say if that was England playing Germany drawing 2-2 in a world cup final....Harry at half time "just run a round a bit my son we can do em this way! Sort it Levy please for fucksake.
The worst performance in a London derby since the Christian Gross era.
A manager who says he knew he would lose when the score was two all- try saying that when you're coaching England Harry, you'll be morphed into a vegetable in no time.
A left back who doesn't deem it necessary to track back when the back four is reteating toward goal.Walcott's only asset is straight line pace on the counter, has BAE's ego reached such proportions that defending is now beneath him?
United is an even bigger game now, this was the sort of showing that can lead to a tailspin.
I've been reading your site for a while now Spooky but never posted on it. Even though I hate Spurs with a passion I check your site out at random times and always when we play eachother, you are a decent writer. I liked the comparison to an injured swamp beast coming out vs the hunter, made me chuckle.
I was surprised as anyone we won and by that scoreline, we have been inconsistent all year which is a trait of ours over the past 4/5 years at times playing great football and beating top sides (Utd, Barca) and then losing to the shitters (Birmingham, Tottenham - i joke). Your team this season is quality, still cant believe vDV was snapped up for so cheap. Adebayor hasnt done you too bad either, but he looked lazy last night as he did when he was at Arsenal and after he thought he'd acomplished something.
Fair play to you for noticing the Bale dive too, fantastic player that any team would love to have in their starting 11 but that was bullshit. Rooney is the biggest diver going, makes me sick as he's so strong. Bale could have rounded the keeper and put it away, he has the talent, so it's not nice to see but I'm sure Walcott (who i think is shit) would have done the same and I know that cunt Pires would have.
Felt sorry for Parker, love that bloke he's quality. You have been the better team all season and you look like you have the stones to keep up the form until the end, where as we most likely dont so i cant see you missing out on 3rd spot, I can see us finishing 5th and losing RvP though. Good luck.
WTF was that?? Favourites to shut the Froggy gobshite up this morning, gifted 2 easy goals, then bang! we take the foot of the gas and get fukkin hammered!!! Harry you stupid cu nt.....what kind of a sh!t team was that?!!! Im fukkin pi55rd off and fakkin humiliated!! Arry, you can take your so wanted England job if you just wanna be seen playing with the crooks and fukkin to55ers at the FA, and we HAVE TO GET MOURINHO, because he has shown he can build a team that can beat Arseholes regularly. I hate that Frog cu nt Wenger,,,,hes such a fukkin smartarse its nauseating!!!!!!!
btw....FUK OFF goonertel, go talk to the trees coz nobody here gives a fuk what you say!!
Spurs fans are hilarious, they moan toooo much, I love it. Spurs are punching well above their wait and only Harry could do that. Some overated players BAE, Parker, Friedal. Plus some players who are up themselves and think they are better than they are – Adebeyor (no effort) and Bale (Should be playing in the middle coz it’s all about him lol). And crocks King and Saha will be out soon. You want Harry out you’re crazy you’ll go back to an avg team again. But you got problems as Your chairman never spends much and the players are already playing like Harry’s gone, if they don't impress they won't be sold as they'll play better for whoever comes in. Next season will be hilarious aswell, out the CL early, players all wanting to leave and 5th in the league (business as usual). You heard it here first
Hahahahaha! I visited this shit of a site on friday and witnessed how this spooky of a blogger and his army of st tottenrinham hotscums followers were saying they will destroy arsenal! Hmmm, please i didnt watch the game, what was the scoreline? Losers with divers as players. If not for that pathetic cunt called bales or wales- beacause he dives like wale, the match would have ended 5-1! Form is temporary while class is permanent hahahahhaa. Lest i forget, it's now only seven points and you hav not played man utd, chelski and everton and i know for sure u will lose all these matches! My little neighbour spuds you can only dream to be like arsenal but u can neva be us and pls try get a new manager because harry is up for england. Bunch of losers hahahahaa!
Wow, one victory and Gooners are going ape shit with giddiness. How come you only piped up with the singing at 4-2 then? Pwoper fans innit. Will someone please think of the bin bags?
The only hilarity is the fact that not a single gooner has visited this site for over a year. The last time in fact was pre-Carling Cup final. Not a peep since then.
Keep on mugging yourselves off.
0-2 and we fucked it up ... ah well , hard to take but we have got to move on and make sure that c*nt Wilshere doesnt win his bet ...
I'm still too angry to look at this objectively. Outplayed, Outthought and Outfought. ...by F...ing...Thomas Rosickys and Theo Walnut. Damn I hate being angry but I am . I'm lashing out and biting the head off everyone. This is not fickleness that was a f...ing shameful display. Even Stevenage would have not looked so inept. Cardiff, Birming teams with much less resources playing above their limitations never disgracing the shirt. If any of out players are reading then I wanna know why did you do that? Why in one of the biggets most important games of the season did you do that!!! No don't answer now as I'd probably tell you to do one but I do need answers we all do.
That's what makes it so laughable.
We beat them at the lane, they beat us at the Emirates. Honours even. Still in front. Still in the cup.
But yes, it was a shit, phoned-in display we used to put in a few years ago and I still fear. I didn't want to be the first to say it but King had a shocker, BAE AWOL, and not much to say about pretty much everyone else. Tactics wrong. No bite in midfield. Poor individual performances. And all in such an important fixture. Big test of character now - will we fold or get back to picking up points?
Also, I firmly believe we would have been just this bad without speculation about the England job.
5 things I learnt from Arsenal 5 Tottenham 2
1 Ledley King might be finished
Conceded a late penalty against man City with a clumsy challenge and was so cumbersome and slow yesterday that Walcott, yes Theo-even-the-arsenal-fans-mock-him-Walcott scored a brace (albeit with a bit of luck from a fortunate poor first touch)
2 Harry isn’t a tactical genius
Van der Vaart has never been, and will never be, a right winger. So who does Harry replace the ineffectual Krancjar with, on the right wing? Van der Vaart. Predictably turned in an anonymous performance.
Also at 2-0 up he should have pulled everyone back, and maybe taken off a striker at half time and put on a DM like Sandro.
3 Spurs need width to win
Bale in the middle and no Lennon on the right meant no natural balance to Spurs time and no time for Modric to probe and direct from the middle as he usually does.
4 Bale aint no Ronaldo
Scored a brace against a team who were in the Championship last season (Norwich) then starts believing the hype that he is as good as £80m Ronaldo and needs to play through the middle. Yet he is at his best (inconsistent best) on the left wing, and has been poor in the middle. Stifled Modric’s natural position and did not contribute much, apart from yet another theatrical dive. Also I’m beginning to get sick of his going to ground so easily, rolling in apparent agony then gingerly getting to his feet, after any challenge, no matter how innocuous.
5 Spurs players need to ignore the press
The pre-match media reports hyped up Spurs to have finally overtaken Arsenal as the best time in North London. Sadly the players seemed to believe this and showed Arsenal no respect, playing far too casually and then looking shellshocked when the goals started flying in.
We need to forget what happened yesterday and carry on how we have been playing all season. We need to get a point against Man u and Chelsea and we will be fine. Remember they have to play Liverpool and they are on a high after the cup win .
Take a step back look up and go forward we will be fine . I hope,,,,,,,,,,
Some good has come out of it though, at least it means they'll probably keep Wenger for another 12 months, that's good news for everyone.
old skool vintage spurs...
we've got our tottenham back!
I thought Gibbs' trailing leg just clipped Bale as he slid in for the tackle. Definitely wasn't any contact from the 'keeper though.
As for the result and where we go from here, I said last week that a defeat could start to see us completely lose our way. It's not so much the defeat as the manner of it. Total and utter capitulation, there's no other word for it. Who was is said that they'd like to see the Gooners score first early on and then see us completely batter them?! Whoever it was needs shooting because the exact reverse happened.
It now becomes a massive test of character to see how we bounce back. When we lost at Old Trafford we bounced back with a 5-1 trouncing at home to City. I can see a similar situation arising next Sunday. There's every possibility that we could race into a nice 2 goal lead again and we all know what happened before when we led by 3. We have the worst record in terms of losing 2 goal leads - that's now 8 times we've been 2-0 up and lost in the PL. The atmosphere at the Lane is going to be incredibly tense on Sunday because the fans will be on edge, hoping to avoid a repeat scenario.
I'd like to think that we could lose and still have a 7 point lead over the "other 2", but now Liverpool are in Europe they're more than likely to put their feet up for the rest of the season. Chelsea gave Blackburn a hiding at the weekend. Good for their confidence, but then again, pretty much everyone's battered Rovers this season. A trip to WBA may be another story.
The good thing is that both those games are on Saturday, so come 4pm on Sunday we will know the situation.
As for tactics - 4-5-1 got us where we are. It worked for the best part of 20 games, with Bale on one flank, Lennon on the other. At worst those two would swap over, but there was always some balance. We made a change against Newcastle and got a great result against a weakened side. Now it's 4-4-2 and we have no flank at all because Bale wants to be free and Kranjcar ambles around. We've been rumbled as to how we can be beaten too. The moment our players are hassled and have no time to play the ball around they lose composure. Every team that has got points from us has harried our defence and midfield. Other teams are picking up on that!!
Obviously it didn't help to have Parker & Modric booked in the first half. Both were then afraid to put in a tackle until it didn't really matter anymore.
Let's just hope yesterday was a one-off..............
Oh and BAE's problem was that he wasn't in Disco mode....... He never plays well with cornrows and semi-fro.
Harry is sidetracked and it's rubbing off on the players. I cannot say this with any credibility, but we will know after the Man U, Stevenage and Chelsea games. If this situation reoccurs during those three games. it's time for him to own up and stand aside.
Harry seems to be instructing that adebeyor should be given the ball as soon as possible even though he loses it 9 times out of 10 and he's conversion rate and pass completion rates are both atrocious, any idea why he has this blind spot. Abeyor should have came off for lennon as early as possible and instead he took off saha who seems to win more headers and holds the ball better, any idea why. team selection was novice like and subs were baffling as well as waiting until the last 5 minutes to make a capello like substitution and bringing on another defender..madness when 3 goals behind. Bale also seems to think he can do as he likes under harry and never helped akotou once. Adebeyor was put out on the left wing when we have in bale the best left winger who could also help akotou out. we play best with 2 wingers bale and lennon but yesterday seemed to have no wingers. Has HARRY gone MAD.
Am having a wonderful Monday, watching all you spurts moan. What a walloping. Mourinho? In ur dreams. Don't blame Harry, he's not England boss yet, not concentrating on Spurs will only lead to more trashings, and that won't help him become England boss. No sirs, you lost yesterday for the same reason ManCity won't win the EPL: history isn't rewritten with cash or pacy ape-like wingers. Great managers and a champions mentality are also needed. I like this site, I think I'll come back after ur ManU game. See ya'll. :-)
Pathetic attempt at trolling. You the same ilk of gooner that has spent the season dressing up empty seats with bin bags? You talk about history and yet the first sign of actual regression and your fans don't bother turning up for games. One game and suddenly ARSENAL ARE BACK BABY!!!!!1111
That's the first time post opening two games of the season that we've played badly. Well done for peaking, it's down hill from here on in 'mate'.

PS how brave to promise to reappear if we lose against Utd. Funny how you lot are never transparent when you lose and Spurs win. Like I said, one year since this place was last frequented by you lot. Shock horror, how textbooky.
Jesus you's Arsenil fans are brainless tools............2 weeks ago your staduim was half empty, there were more TESCO bags on seats than you's wankers on seats!!!!!! So pipe the fuck down!! 7 POINTS AHEAD and it will be 10 next sunday again.Liverfool will beat you's and our boys will take UTD. They have to........MR LEVY MUST DEMAND A PERFORMANCE FROM THE MANAGEMENT AND PLAYERS FOR YESTERDAYS SHIT.....Back to basic's...........Hopefully walker will be ok,Dawson for King,Lennon for Kranjar,Sandro for Parker........Bale on the left (and fuckin stay there)........Defoe for Adeybaor......it might wake that big lazy similey cunt up because he's not worth half the wages he's on...........WE WANT A REACTION...........2-1 SPURS...ITS ABOUT TIME WE BEAT UTD AT HOME!
Post-NLD, most of them believed they'd lose. Think the shock has gone to their heads.
They've been suicidal all season long and now they define their resurgerance based on the fact they beat Spurs? Think about it. Gooners, you'll shit bricks when you work it out.

Top Totty's, put a sock in it you dyke.
You don't need to get menstral about it, we won't catch you and we don't deserve to catch you. There's three players in the Arsenal team that can be proud of the way they've played this season; RvP, Koscielny and AoC when he's been given a chance. The rest of the team have been inconsistent at best and we still have lumps of shit in our squad getting paid decent money, like Djourou, Diaby, Squilacci. Wenger needs to sort himself out and buy a couple decent players who have proven themselves, but most of them wont want to come anywhere near us now and would rather join your club.
Ours is a club getting weaker each year - still capable of playing well but not often enough, bottling it at key points. Yours is one on the up who have been playing great football all season and with CL football next year you should be able to bring in some more quality.
I'd like us to catch you for 3rd spot, but I'd like to see you damage Utd as well because they're cunts, even if City end up winning the title. Chelsea bought the title before, it's nothing new, and quite frankly Aguero is that good I'd love to see him with the PL trophy.
Arsenal fans are like wood-lice, you only see them sliming around when 'rain drops' and or rotting appear to be emerging.
Not one of my mates (Arsenal fans) have the ; heart, dignity, courage, decency to even bother to be contactable when we are doing well ( all season or after being beaten by us/ last four or so seasons), but you can bet your bottom dollar that they find the mucus to slither out in to the open when it looks a little like feed-time. Amongst all the fans I know, Scu =m fans are the most laughed at, delusional and detested..*some club
We needed that loss yesterday..just to put things back in to perspective, because for me we always, always do it the hard way.
I'd take 50 million for bale in a shot personally..get in a ' real manager ' not some over -inflated nearly man , self aggrandising old cu** like rednap, who is just simply too media cozy. Never ever intimating that- the only singular reason he has any trace of identity with success , is because we as a fan base and club gave him his peda-stool to preach from..thats the man!
and to be fair, not one for kicking a pup when its down ( mostly ) , but the abject surrender that has been Arsenal this season began to ware on my Tottenham conscience, they were in the gutter... there was nowhere else for them to go, they as you creatively put it, lived in a swamp ( Like that camp firm in that flash gordon movie, dressed in green ).
Upwards and onwards..shame about them up the road being so shi* now, doesn't seem normal not having someone to throw change at every day on the way to work ...
COYFS
All this NLD banter proves one thing.
We are all very insecure. On both sides.
;)
Having read the comments left here by gooner trolls, I take it that they've just returned from their celebratory open top bus parade behind St Pancras station. Jeeez, the arrogance of 'em....never ceases to amaze!!
Some of them (not all) just can't be seen admitting to things that would deem them weaker than this perception they've built up over the years.
