Knee-jerk
Spurs 1 City 5
Absolute rubbish. All of them a disgrace to the shirt for basically allowing City to tip tap the ball around White Hart Lane like we'd agree to submit to them before the start like a slick choreographed wrestling match between a contender for the belt and a jobber.
You want proof that Harry Redknapp's tenure has entered the fatal end game? Here it is. Look up at the score again. We've been poor for 15+ games now in the league. Harry struggled to manage the squad last season, never quite working out a consistent game plan domestically with fitting the epically over-rated Rafa van der Vaart into the side and thus causing unmitigated damage in the forward positions resulting with a lack of cutting edge.
But that's just part of the problem. Levy and ENIC quite obviously self-absorbed by the NDP and Olympic Stadium because they need to make sure they don't miss their roadmap objectives in terms of building a new stadium for the club so that they can then look to sell it and make all the shareholders gleeful. Leaving the footballing issues to the next set of mugs to buy in.
We have shown no decisive nature in the transfer window since it opened. If...and it's a big if we actually bid for the players we were heavily linked with in the past window or two then surely the chairman and manager would be wise to the fact that they would need to discuss realistic targets BEFORE the current window opened up.
Target. Bid. Sign.
Instead of constant dithering and inquires and conflicting messages being sent out leading to scatter-gun desperation on the last day.
Crouch to Stoke apparently. But there he is starting against City. Two questions. Why? He's set to be sold. Second question. Why? He's simply not good enough to lead the front-line. It's obvious Levy wants shot of him because Harry more or less stated this in his post-match interview, blaming our form on our lack of direction in the window and the fact Peter is heavily linked with a move away. Another suggestion made being the classic 'we need to sell before we sign'. It's groundhog day with zombies stuck in a room with no doors with nothing to eat except for each other.
Manager and chairman are not bestest friends. Which means either Levy can't control Harry or Harry believes he has lost all control and simply wants to make sure his position has been made unattainable because of the chairman so that he has ample blame to fire at when he leaves/gets the sack.
Utter mess.
Losing isn't that big of a shock, is it? Defeats against two teams managed better than us on and off the pitch. No shocker. The true shock is the fact that we qualified for the CL and then failed to consolidate, Levy preferring to fall back onto one of his own soundbites about how qualifying for the elite competition every season is not possible due to the nature of modern football. Great fighting talk there. More or less set the foundations for us to get dicked today two years ago.
Our best player has been a forty year old in goal and he's still managed to concede a whole heap of beautys and uglys. Sums it up. To dare is to do, so we do nothing.
Dawson, Kaboul - not good enough. The latter is a better midfielder than he is a defender. Bale hasn't been decent for nine months. With any luck he'll give birth to a bouncing baby Bale. More chance of it looking dangerous than Gareth has at the moment. Niko only good enough for mid to lower table opposition. Rafa is more trouble than he's worth. Injury prone and creates imbalance to the side when playing and sulks like a b*tch. He's the Dutch Robbie Keane without the cartwheel. Lennon, too comfortable and without competition. Defoe showed glimpses when he came on, I'll give him that. Probably his lot for the season now. Peaked.
As for Modric, get rid of him now. If only so that we can be left with £40M in our pockets and no time to spend it, just to rub further salt into our wounds. Considering what happened with Berbatov, did our esteemed chairman not have the foresight that this would play out to yet another gut-wrenching conclusion?
But alas our chairman doesn't want to sell him and by the very nature of our reluctance to compete and sign players we are more or less stating with transparency we are a selling club because why the heck would Modric want to stay when we're signing third rate players? At some point, we wont be able to hold onto someone who does not want to wear the shirt. Not selling him to prove a point to everyone that we cant be bullied is detrimental to the club when it causes so much aggravation.
But we've hold onto him long enough to now have a player that will spend the months leading up to Christmas crying his eyes out about how unfair his six year contract is before being sold for £22M in January.
How to fix all this mess before we get ourselves into a relegation battle?
Levy - sack Redknapp or at the very least start looking for a replacement. He'll be fine. He's more interested in brokering a deal for little Luka Modric to Chelsea than he is with sorting out our first eleven so perhaps he can spend the rest of the season as a football agent. Sell Bale while you're at it before his valuation plummets so low that we'll be paying Nottingham Forest to take him on loan.
But it's too late for any of that. We are truly shafted.
We have missed the boat because we have the blessing of ENIC that owns the club that possesses no balls to push this us forward with the same aggression and fortitude others are doing. What statement do we make signing damaged youth players and an ex-gooner striker on loan and from the looks of it an over-rated work-horse from a relegated club? Could have been worse, hey Harry? We could have signed that waste of space Suarez.
Pathetic.
Nine points adrift of the top already. Didn't show up for Everton. Went home early against Man Utd. Fell asleep against City. Don't expect us to get more than a point at Wolves and Liverpool of old are back so I make that zero points from four games.
Stick that on a t-shirt.
Played 2. Won 0. Drawn 0. Lost 2. GF 1. GA. 8 GD -7. Position: 20th. Bottom of the table and going down with the Arsenal.
There used to be a football club here.

woah, ffs chap. 1- it's only a game. 2- last season you were d1cking the eyties in the CL and having a whale of a time, you forgot that already ? If you carry on like this we'll be thinking you're all like the disgusting trafford town ( you're the pride of singapore) glory hunting wankers.
OK , so this season hasn't started well. You've played two games against teams likely to be first and second. pay attention now - THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. stop being a whining tart and start laughing at le-arse.
/stands up
//begins slow clap
OMG i do so agree with all of this, couldnt have said it better myself.
Stop this now please.
OK we've lost out two opners, to two of the teams that will finish in the top three. Have we all forgotten that we have just had our 17 game unbeaten home run to a team that had £190 million worth of players on the pitch and £100 million on the bench.
We didn't get rolled over at old trafford like our pale counterparts the Gonners !!!
We did have some issues in defence not picking up runners in the box, and no strength in midfield, but we knew this before kick off.
We will finish in the top five, we were never going to win the league this year anyway. Let's be real we cannot compete in the current transfer market when players are been offered silly Money, and we have a good chairman in Levy, who will not be drawn into spending silly money on players who no longer play for clubs, but for the highest payers.
Lets stop moaning and get behind our team and manager lets see where we are in December, then in the cold light of day we'll know if we have the right manager and players playing for us.
time for redknapp to go. he is more interested in his portsmouth homes, court appearances, sky adverts and keeping his media mates happy with his daily rent-a-quotes than he is managing Spurs. Our transfer policy is a joke.... any player Harry has bought before or knows is triffic and he wants to sign - parker, cole, beckham, diarra etc... doesn't matter whether there any good or not or past it! Forget about scouting - Suarez!!! - and looking for good up n coming playes to build for future
Harry thinks tactics are a little mint in a box...4-4-1-1 hasnt worked since it began but he wont go back to 4-4-2 that served our forwards so well 2009/10. Too many youngsters go out on loan or don't play - the recent games an exception forced on Redknapp by injuries etc.
Redknapp has continually undermined Levy's stance on Modric. He has never just said - not for sale -always valuation too low etc inviting more bids..
Redknapp just cannot shut up - he wrote off Spurs getting into top 5 long before season started, praising other teams squads managers etc then complains that have to show ambition - wtf? how many mixed messages do you want to send?
Redknapp is a joke, a parody of the wheeler dealer... get rid of now before too late and to much damage is done... short list Jurgen Klopp from Dortmund, Gus Poyet, Moyes. Redknapp thanks for what you did but go now
Sarcasm spooky????? There is no way on earth you wrote that without tryin to sum up the panic on all the forums! I dont believe there your thoughts on all this chaos
I have scarcely ever been so depressed after a day of football. Sure, it was fantastic football from the Manchester-based clubs, but it has hammered home the final nail in English football’s coffin.
Even as a yid, Arsenal and to a lesser extent our good selves were the last challenger to the billionaire playthings who could compete with their own, honestly-earned (and even that is relative, given the stitch-up of the Champions League) resources, and now they cannot even come within a country mile.
Football in England may at the top echelons have never been better. But English football is dead.
Today was symptomatic of everything that is rotten with the world. The super-rich shit on everyone else and everyone else let's them do it.
Even with the Arse doing even worse than us, today was a sad day for all lovers of football and true fans. Let's kiss Bill Nocholson goodbye and say hello to Blade Runner. Sickening.
The big exclusive will be when you hear about the huge Harry - Levy bustup!!! Its only a matter of time before this gets out.
What a load of BS. well beat Wolves and get something at Liverpool. what was plainly obvious is that you cannot play against teams without a holding midfielder .No one to break up City's attacks. Harry's team selection was diabolical
Mr Rednapp is quick to congratulate himself. "when I came here we were bottom of the league" well where are we now. So with the bouquets come the brickbats.
Al, its Sandbanks in Bournemouth, plannig application for 3 villas - 4th highest land value in the world - thats our little Harry!!
Ha ha, my favourite of the trilogy. Truths in all three but this is the rant that burns at the back of the mind. Speaking of which, I saw lasers firing out of Levy's eyes into the back Harry's head today. Really was spooky.
Jeez, do these commenters not read this blog regularly? There's clear sarcasm here, along with the some painful truths, but mostly sarcasm.
Spooky has blogged three times this evening. Not sure any one of the three are his opinions as such. Thinking we're meant to pick one of the them? Positive, negative, kneejerk??
And Hotspur - its no secret that Levy and Redknapp are having differences in opinion. Every time Redknapp opens his mouth he proves this. Heard rumours some players have turned us down because its so apparent.
Then again if it was a falling out he'd have been sacked by now. Because not sackign him would be a disaster. Can't keep hold of someone causing so much trouble for the chairman when he gobs off every second.
I suggest in the next transfer window we know who we want to get and not have a list as long as your arm rumouring that there's the next big striker who were going to sign, no just no, please sort it out or redknapp please leave.
Love this post, unfortunately it reflects my views that Redknapp is nothing more than a chancer that lucked into the job, lucked into the emergence of Bale and Sandro because of injuries to others, has no ability to spot talent, has no tactical nous, treats massive games as an opportunity to 'send a message' to the chairman and is nothing more than a weasel of a man.
I enjoyed all 3 perspectives on our current mess. Great as always Spooks. We must sell Modric. It's a sad fact but in a way Harry's right, our preseason was nothing but distractions and intrigue. Still his constant carping in the press has reached the height of absurdity. Hoping things will settle a bit after the transfer window closes and we can just get on with it. And now VdV is out with a hamstring knock. Who's gonna play up front v Wolves? We'll certainly play a 4-4-2. Could it be
Friedel
Corluka Dawson Kaboul BAE
Lennon Hudd Parker Bale
Defoe Adebayor
I can never tell if you're being sarctastic or not. If not. I'm absolutely steaming over the result today and this whole Modric saga.
Areas we need sorting:
Competition for Lennon
Experienced CB to partner either Daws or Kaboul (Gallas or King when fit are perfect when fit)
CM (Scott Parker should be what we need(someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck and get them to sort their shit out on the pitch))
Training Ground staff - How many injuries do we have? It's a constant problem that must attributed to the staff or the facilities
Levy to have a fucking word with Redknapp regarding press etc
- HR constantly contradicts himself one being that people who phone into TalkSport etc are all idiot yet he might as well have his own slot on the show. This may back up his theory because the blokes a moron.
Get rid of Modric and get a replacement. I don't want to see him playing for Spurs again. He's disrespected the club and the shirt and should go ASAP before the pathetic weasel. Refusing to play 2 hours before the game. You've thrown your toys out the pram and fucked everything up. Well fucking done you shit! Grow the fuck up and respect the contract you signed. I'm sure your agent is more than to blame for this whole mess.
These are all areas that should have been sorted through this so called "awful pre-season". Is that not the point in a pre-season? Getting things sorted for the new season? Not waiting until the last week YET AGAIN.
FUCKING SORT IT HARRY AND FUCKING SORT IT LEVY!!!
COYS!
Best news of the day, vdv out for 7 weeks. Now for gods sake play 442 with adeb and defoe up front.
Say it aint so:
Skysports.com understands Tottenham have offered Jake Livermore to West Ham on a season-long loan as part of ongoing negotiations to sign Scott Parker.
I literally gasped out loud when I read that...talk about eating your seed corn.
Ridiculous. Can we not give them Bentley?
I'm tired of hearing "we need competion" for Lennon, we need a REPLACEMENT!!!, he has been been useless for the best part of 2 seasons.
Jest or sarcasm, it really makes little difference because its mostly true. Knee jerker perhaps, but tired as f@ck of the cnuts jerking us around. For those who are optimistic that's good we need supporters like you. However, don't be surprised by those who are fed up of the nonsense, these feelings aren't unfounded. Levy's making little sense and Knap is making far less or none at all. He's gotten us out of the relegation zone only to take us back. United as brilliant as they may be, they should not be invincible, we look like we're fresh out of ideas on the field. Geez, anyway for those who believe this is 'just 2 games, what's everyone fussing about?' - well when we get out of this little situation with possible thanks to knap, then I'll happily take the 'I told you so' but until then, this is absolute jauby, good night.
Levy is the problem at the club.Talks a good game but doesnt back it up and not consolidating on the champions league by strengthening the team.He upsets other teams making deals less likely. He waits to do the BIG last minute deal but do the deal before the season starts!!!! He is clueless.Time for Levy out. Your website will need a new name:)
Redtwat and his dinosaur coaches are tactically inept and every player has gone backwards under their tutelage. Clough, Venables, Rednose, even Wenger got more than the sum of the parts out of their individuals. Harry sends his depleted team out with the message that Coronation Street are better than Barca. This attitude sums up why our performance will always fall below that of, for example, the norwich loss at chelsea yesterday. i watched it on tv here and their tactics, desire and ability to punch above their weight made me think we could do the same against citeh. back to reality though....
With you right up until the end, spooks - Arsenal won't get relegated but we will. Wenger's a proper gaffer, not like the car salesman we have in charge.
I have been saying it for some time. Redknapp has to go. How can a Manager come out with 'Modric didn't want to play before the game'. Who's in fucking charge here; Modric. Never mind whether we sell Modric or not, it's not important anymore but Redknapp has to go. No two ways about it, he has to go immediately.
Levy won't ever dice roll on big transfers. His business plan sees THFC as position 5-7, anything better is iceing on the cake.Business is good. He won't tell us fans that though.
After an embarrassing start to his tenure with Hodd in charge (we nearly signed rivaldo letter etc), he realised that Spurs were a laughing stock in the press.Enic then employed either Kaiser Soze or Peter Mandelson. The spin on ambition has kept us going ever since & our heartstrings always get the better of us.
Where is the champions league money? What about the 30-35 million we were going to stump up for Rossi et al. If we sell Judric for 40mill, does that mean we have 100 million to spend?
Enic now see no point in competing through spending lots of dosh and its not in their plans to do so.They like cut price transfers like VdV (talented, injury prone, petulant, doesn't fit in), free transfers like bellendamy, gallas, friedel. While devising some of the greatest strings attached deals ever for bonus coinwhen they sell the likes of Bent. They have a clear view of THFC's place in the money making machine that is the premier league & its not what we all want.
"Get rid of Modric and get a replacement. I don't want to see him playing for Spurs again. He's disrespected the club and the shirt and should go ASAP before the pathetic weasel. Refusing to play 2 hours before the game. You've thrown your toys out the pram and fucked everything up. Well fucking done you shit!....."
This and similar Luke's bashings in the aftermath of ManC game make me chuckle and think...... Harry, you are genius in shifting the responsibility spotlight for the defeat from yourself to someone else; in this case it’s Luke and your supposedly “chat” with him before the match. You knew the fans’ “knowledge” about the Luke saga, because you helped them with the “facts” all along, and you knew how they would react about this “chat” when they hear about it. It doesn’t matter that no one asked you about it, it doesn’t matter if this is your version/spin of that supposed “chat”, it doesn’t matter if it happened at all. You could have spiced it even more by revealing that he actually requested to be subbed…..nah, not a good idea; there were too many witnesses that it never happened.
BTW, Luke did OK, and I am pretty sure that this "chat" would never be mentioned if Spurs were the winners.
Regardless, I still love HR more than Levy. In this time of age Levy should try to grow brain cells rather than balls, and robbing a guy of 100, 000 pounds every week and chuckling in his face will not induce growth of a single brain cell.
Redknapp must be absolute vermin to volunteer details of a workplace private conversation with a player. The fact the player DID play makes the rest irrelevant. Redknapp recounted the story to deflect the blame for his atrocious management.
Knee Jerk? No mate, you're just a jerk. And as for the rest of you so called Spurs fans on here, you should be ashamed of yourselves. We've had the best couple of seasons for years and then get beat by, let's face it, the two best teams in the Premiership - who have spent millions upon millions on new players. Harry, although a bit of a geezer, has done a fantastic job over the past two seasons and I believe he will do a great job again this season if he can get the players in we need. Our problem, as long as we play second tier wages, will always be trying to get the players to take us to the next level. This is not the fault of Harry. Harry knows we need to get rid of our shite forwards but getting better ones in will always be a problem whilst we won't pay top wages. Get real people! ps As for Modric - Make him fucking stay - He doesn't care about us so why should we give a fuck about him?
We all know Redknapps goin at the end of this season so why waste time get hm out now so we can plan for the future- i say get Moyes or Poyet
dont blame harry you have had two great seasons with him ,and you will this season ,you were beaten by the two top teams in the premier league ,i dont know about ade though he is a lazy twat and troublemaker ,and we are glad to get shot of him ,this is a real kneejerk reaction.the answer is definately not to sack harry . he is a good manager you were rock bottom and hopeless before he came just remember that ,i saw all you fans leave when you were getting hammered ,call yourself supporters.leave harry alone.
Kevin, are you for real?
Spooky these 3 posts were the best I have seen you write, inspired. I definitely lean toward towards the positive post myself but can't help but agree with parts of the other two.
As for competition for Lennon, isn't that was the Falque signing is about? Why would we loan a player an who had no chance of a start? That's a waste of money right there and Levy wouldn't be pleased with that.
I''m just glad we're not fucking Arsenal right now. 5-1 is embarassing, 8-2 is humiliating and really gave me some perspective today, along with a few laughs.
Clearly my English escaped me today.
I have to agree 100% with this post. The blame lyes at Levy(ENICs) door. After hearing Redknappes comments after the match he has NO idea who is coming or going.I cannot see Tottenham hitting the top 5 this season(not that I care).
One other thing. To really compete now we need a 75,000 stadium and not a 56.000 stadium.Arseanal have built a new stadium and can no longer match the likes of Citeh and Chelski. If we are going to rebuild we may as well aim as high as possible.Anything else is a waist of time.
Only thing Spurs strikers have in common with Joe Jordan is that they are toothless.
If they were even 10% as prolific, great in the air, passionate and committed as he was they would perform 100 times better for the team. But it is no surprise to see Crouch, Pav, and Defoe flop in the three games this season. They are playing just the same as they were last season.
Didn't turn up for Everton
Nice little trilogy. They're all accurate.
Ramos was supposedly a tactician, but (maybe because his English was piss-poor, or maybe because his heart wasn't in it) when his tactics were repeatedly shown to be ineffectual (at best), Levy dropped him and went for Harry.
Harry's supposedly a man-manager. He works on getting the best out of individuals through motivation, encouragement and fatherly guidance. When (as in our late surge in 2009/10 and the CL matches last season) he manages to squeeze magic out of his players, he's satisfied and vindicated in his belief that "...it's 10% about the formation and 90% about the players.", and anyone who dares point out the naivety of playing five attack minded players/no in-form goalscorers/no deep holding midfielder/just hoping that if we keep the ball in their half and don't succumb to the painfully simple counter-attacks, gets shouted down as an idiot who doesn't understand the game. Look, we won - the tactics are irrelevant. The boys done good.
Of course, it doesn't always work like that (if it did, we'd have won all competitions last season, right?). The glory of Harry's anti-tactics stance is that it abdicates any responsibility on his part - if they play well and win, he talks of 2pts from 8, bottom of the table, blah blah, got them playing confidently. If they play badly and lose, he focuses on form, injuries and other individual problems. It's a perfect way to avoid any blame for anything, and worst of all, I think he's learnt to believe it too.
Now, we all know United and City have squads better than ours, and we'd be daft to think any fluke of tactics or individual genius could've turned those scorelines the other way around without some injection of fresh blood - but that's not to say we couldn't have walked away with a little more pride. We did ok against United, but a glance at the highlights (and/or zonal marking's write up) shows we were far more open than we really needed to be, and going forward we lacked the movement to cause problems. If the players don't have the vision, it's surely up to Harry to either tell them what to do, or (in his preferred Managerial role) replace them for players who know better.
Against City, we were woefully badly set-up: after fifteen minutes it was clear that, while we could possibly take the lead, we'd struggle to stop them scoring at some point. What did Harry do? At two-nil down he introduced Huddlestone for Kranjcar, then Defoe for a broken Lennon, then at four-nil Livermore for Modric. No effort to change the shape - Defoe on for Lennon was necessitated by our lack of a right-wing alternative on the bench, and the idea seemed to be pushing VdV wide and doing a Hoddle/England'98 -esque frontman rotation between Defoe and Crouch. If we'd been closely competing all game, it might've been a brilliant response to an injury calamity, but at four-one it was bizarre. Arguably by that point the game was long-lost, so what difference did it make, but shouldn't he have attempted to change things sooner?
Like I said, once Ramos' tactics were found out, he went. I don't care whether Harry goes or stays, but if he stays I'd like to see him make some effort to address the gaping holes in his tactical abilities. Try some variety (4411/451/442 is not variety when they all involve playing in the exact same style), be more proactive to change things when you've made mistakes (he's made first-half subs in the past - why not yesterday?), just DO SOMETHING. At any rate, I think it's pretty obvious now (and I've been saying this since last November, so it's not a kneejerk) that man-management does not negate the need for *some* tactical common-sense, and when form and morale are at a low ebb (as they currently are), only three events can possibly turn things around:
1) Manager gets team playing more grittily, to earn points and restore confidence
2) New signing rejuvenates team spirit and fixes squad imbalance
3) New manager rides in to the rescue.
Number 2 seems unlikely as we clearly can't compete for the big boys' signatures. Number 3 was Harry's own trick, and I've no doubt Levy would be pursuing this route if he had any idea who could possibly take the reins. That leaves number 1, so come on, let's be realistic, and look forward to us playing tight, pragmatic football and doing our best to get a solid three points against Wolves and at least a hard-won draw against Liverpool. If we go up against Wolves thinking we're Barcelona, it will get a lot worse before it gets any better.
COYS.
Yesterday was the first game I left early in 238 games at the Lane (when the 5th went in).
Something was clearly wrong in the dressing room, the tactics I think my Mrs could have pointed out were not going to work with that plane botherer up front. Like most I accept that we don't have any devine right and Man City have great players but there was no fight until Livermore came on. Man City were not that good, if they had played well they could have had 10. Also the police ballsed up letting the Cittie twats out and caused traffic chaos.
Ummm, for me the jury's still out, other than on the 'arry saga. You just can't go from European top eight to last in the Premier League with the same players in the space of three months. Can you?
One thing I will say spooky is I'm surprised you, or anyone else come to that, never mentioned the body-language of the players subbed.... frightening !!
Parker spent the whole of last season in the bottom 3.Why would he want to do that again?
yes very poor, but 2 games in, perspective needed, simple
'perspective needed, simple'
Perspective is on it's way... August 31st looms
"You just can't go from European top eight to last in the Premier League with the same players in the space of three months."
It wasn't three months. The downward spiral started Feb 22, 2011 when we lost to blackpool. For the remainder of that season, we played 15 matches and we won only 3 of them.
What we're seeing is a continuation of the latter half of last season's loss of form, very similar to what happened with Ramos. At the time, that was dismissed as Carling Cup win hangover, but the real problem became apparent the following season. Oh and in that 2 from 8 period, we never lost worse than 2-0, most losses were 2-1. Nothing like the hammerings we took in the last two weeks.
What about our central defence?
Granted, King and Gallas are massive losses and IMO Kaboul was at fault twice (Dzeko's first two) and Dawson too slow to catch Aguero. How did Bassong go so far wrong? I know he has had a few poor games recently, but it wasn't that long ago on the march to CL qualification that Bassong was a regular, consistent and able performer alongside Dawson in King's absence that season. Has he really become that bad? Either way do you think a CB is a priority given King and Gallas' age/injury problems and would Cahill fit the bill, or would Jagielka fit the bill?
The CL run papered over what an awful last 3 months we had last season, but the enlightened few could see this coming. Judging by some of the players body language and interaction with Redknapp, it looks to me as if the players are losing respect for him.
Redknapp needlessly announcing live on TV that Modric didn't want to play has ended any chance of changing his mind and informed the rest of the side that they can't trust Redknapp with their word. I just hope that the chavs are still interested.
Good points by ziegemonster, and the reasons why I believe Redknapp will get sacked and we're going to need another saviour again. It's like some fucking horror version of Groundhog Day.
Yep, frigging nightmare loop, but each iteration keeps getting worse...
