It might be 10am where you all mostly are but on the other side of the planet it's 7pm Thursday. I've just left transport in a stinking cab after pissing the afternoon away with other Melbourne Spurs. Shit excuses to get away from work the lot of us. It's still incredible. I am tottenham and glory be my name.
Was anyone here at the game and do you know what happened after we scored. The sky commentators were saying there was some sort of altercation going on. Or was it a stripper/pitch invader?

Spooky you need to have a 'where were you the night we cracked the SKY 4 monopoly' entry of some sort.
I had to give up my ticket to Eastlands due to being quarantined with an eye infection, so I watched all the fare on SKY and the days build up on SSN.
On SSN earlier in the day a question posed to Alan Mullery 'will it not be better for the neutral if City gained 4th and CL status due to the fact that they would be able afford any player they wanted'
Mullery's aghasted reply 'don't you lot just ask some stupid questions' whilst avoiding a coronary over the puerility and bias involved exactly sums up SKY and their sycophancy.
The second thing was in the pre-match prattle(c). the Gomes interview, going on about our position and where we are in the league and how we were going to win to ensure CL 'we deserve it' he said solemnly and softly in his lovely Brazilian accent. This man is the real deal as genuine as they come, he believed then and had no doubt.
Just like us. He is a YID we found one of ours in amongst this march of the mercenaries.

We need one of those montages from the Karate Kid, you know the one where the song is 'we're the best around'. Fucking sensational scenes and fully deserved. Still getting goose bumps now.
That was so sweeeeeet! We 100% deserved the victory and to take 4th place.
We play open attractive football, we entertain, we have a core of English players and an English manager. there is no sugar daddy, we run a tight ship.
We are a credit to this league and this country and when we go to Europe we will not let anyone down.
I cannot wait for us to get going in the CL. A decent qualifying draw and then a decent group. I would love to see one of the European Giants at WHL - Real, Barca, Milan(s). It will be simply amazing!

ueueueueueueeurgh, I feel like there's a cat scratching about in my head.
Watched the game in my house with a couple of mates and few beers, then, as soon as we won, took 150 quid out of the slush fund and took them out for cocktails and shots all round. Was hammered.
Then, in the morning, my upstairs neighbour knocked on my door and handed me two brand new keys for the front door to our close becauce someone had 'tampered with the lock and destryed it', it was only then that memories came flooding back of me being so drunk i snapped my key off in the front door so then tried to bash my way in haha! Still not entirely sure how I did get in... Didn't let on to her though.
I knew we'd win, the team has had a tangible spirit and togetherness all season and the core have played and matured together for 4-5 years, it was simply marvellous to beat City with sheer will, force and workrate.
That had to be the easiest closing out of a game ever, the goal totally knocked the stuffing out of the mercaneries!
Proud proud man today, smile hasnt left my face !
