FAO Daniel Levy

Ignoring the textbook media reports in the build up to Saturday's game that Manchester United are going to be looking at signing Gareth Bale in the summer for £20M (LOL), I'll further ignore delving deep into commentary over this 'rumour' and the subsequent discussions arising on both Spurs and Utd forums about the young Welsh monkey-God. Other than pointing out the success of Berbatov and Carrick since their departures. Both decent players. But both undervalued (it would seem) by many United fans. Although Bale is something quite different from these two and United were interested in the lad before we signed him. I suspect others will also knock on our door and wave money in our faces.

I'll get straight to the concluding point.

Gareth Bale. New Contract. Make it happen. Now.

Daniel, please make this summer a Tottenham Foundation contribution free summer*.

*Please feel free to make a contribution if you're not in anyway associated with Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool etc etc

I understand that it is business and it is hard to decide if a big offers come in. But if we think long term, we shouldn't sell BALE, LENNON etc. We got 5 star players in our hands, which is not easy to get in the first place without playing in champions league. Think about it, who can we sign as a replacement that is in the same class. So it 's simple, keep them unless they offer us a huge amount of money say 40-50 millions. F_cK off United!!!!

Now Bale has come of age, how about instead of 'Monkey Boy' we go with 'The Ape Man'?

The marketing possibilities are endless, Bale Ape Man suits complete with club crest - a must for every discerning Spurs fan's fancy dress needs; blue and white inflatable match day bananas - a favourite with the kids; remember the old peanut seller, 'Peanuts! Getcha peanuts!'? Why not employ some down trodden locals to dress up in said Ape suits to distribute packets of ' Ape Man Nuts', for a fair price of course. Not only will this 'put something back' into the community, but will also ensure the club doesn't have to wait until half time to take more of our money. Ape shakes anyone?

The monkey chant can return, now safely distanced from any racist connotations or perhaps the chant, 'Feed the Ape and he will score' to the tune of 'We'll support you evermore'.

Tbf, bale reacts well to the 'bale, bale, bale' chorus as it rings aroun the ground.

Unsophisticated? for sure. but he "hearts" us fans, lets hope he realises he won't get that sort of support at many other grounds.

Contract in blood, would be good, but reality is that 'arrys been talking the lad up for a few months now, and he'll want to keep him, if only to make sure he gets his own 'win bonuses'.

£20 mil? that would buy you a bentley and a kevin prince-boateng. £50mil is prob nearer the mark in this crazy world we live in.

funny thing about the Bale to Utd story in the express was that it said that "the 2 clubs would discuss it at the OT at the weekend" AS IF!!

Can just imaging SAF going up to HR and saying...."can I have a word with you after the game?"

It may be wrong, but I have a good feeling about this game. And for the following reasons:

1. We are not expected to win or even draw, so we remain underdogs, which suits us.
2. Utd will genuinely fear us.
3. We are in triffic form, none better over the last 8 games of the season (21/24pts)
4. The likes of Modric, Bale and Dawson are in red hot form
5. Utd do look a bit under strength, especially if Rooney is again not 100%
6. We should have King back, Lennon on the bench at least. We have 4 fit striking options. Palacios is back.

I think we really have to go at Utd hard. They HAVE TO WIN and i think we can un-nerve them and their crowd if we really get in their faces and be positive. We can break forward at speed and whoever is at RB (Neville or the Brazilian bros) Bale can torment them. With Modric back in his best position, maybe Lennon on the right, but if not then Bentley, who has worked very hard in the last 2 games, especially defensively, then we can really give them a bloody good game.

Normally, my optimism is left disappointed, but I think this is our best chance to get something from OT , foa a long time.

Hopefully Levy will tell anyone and everyone to Fuck Off! Unless someone has £7 or £8m for Jenas. Can see him going to WHU or maybe Fulham.

My worry is not about EPL big boys coming in for Bale ......but teams like Barca or Real. If they came in with a mega bid for Bale or Modric it would be very difficult to hang on to them.

SIGN THEM UP LEVY................NOW!!

W e should not worry if UTD Red Knights or the Dept ridden Glaziers want to build our new stadium then let him go for 50 millon 50 Millon for Modric .The good news is we have a better player who can also bulk up and play Townsend this lad will be a sensation and is two years younger. Plus Bostock will rise to the top and Mason Kane Caulker Rose we have invested wisely for the Future and Utd have to service there Dept or it will be another scandal in the making this is a giant with crumbling foundations . And this is the year of Giant killing in both Finance and in Sport have Fallen from DAVIDS sling all 7ft of them and DAVID is our Yids saint and Bales is Wales. Spurs to seal a great win in Fegies five mins extra by a Defoe penalty 2-1 and Fergie screams at Mariner you c***t you robbed us against Liverpool and the one who gave away the penalty yes you guessed Jasper Carrott Scholes who scored Utds goal against City and Utds goal against Spurs now thats better than Bale to Utd any day .
