Gio always pops up at transfer window time. Brings dozens of posts about how he is really top class and should be given a chance and must not be sold to anyone. Then the window closes and nobody mentions the Gio for six months and everyone forgets he is even on our books taking up space using a wage packet and never playing for the first team. It is that time of year again so here comes Gio...

seriously though, the kid is bonafide, hes not the rat. one of my few problems with arry is that he doesnt work enough players into the squad. it makes us a bit one dimensional and we end up with bunch of players who havent played in forever... bentley, keane, gio, niko. it just makes it harder for them to be sharp when the time comes when we need them.
we did alright in VDV absence but we could have stuck with our formation and slotted gio in his spot, i believe that is supposed to be his best position. but harry would never show that much faith in gio or a player like him.
Attitude can't be right if he can't get anywhere near the first team.

Sorry to have to disagree with Spursmass, but of the players named by you Bentley and Keane have had far too many chances, and are not so much a waste of space, as a liability. Bentley in particular is not only a waste of space,and a liability, but he also a waste of a supporting right back. I reckon Keane only got his run-out at Twente in order to try and shop window him.
Gio has been on the subs list the last few games. He's close to the first team. I still think we haven't seen him given a proper chance due to the size of the team. I mean, he's still only 21, why get rid of him now? He doesn't have to be on 25 man squad list yet.
You shouldn't have run that pic. I've just received a police caution for cartwheeling naked down the frozen turkey aisle at Asda while allegedly shouting "Harry for Pope". Scary thing is - I don't remember a thing.
