Spurs have for the first time a manager who hasn't blurbed on about '1961' and 'winning the title' and has instead stated he wants to concentrate on beating Blackpool and restoring confidence. Apparently this has 'little in the way of hope' for the fans.
Ian McGarry. You're a fucking tool.
Expecting Levy to turn up? Yeah alright then, because shooting yourself in the foot having already had the other amputated due to the same accident is the wise thing to do.

Don't agree Spooky. Comolli was full of contridictions about Jol but then its impossible to save face after how all that was handled by the club. The press conference wasn't the best. Ramos denying he didn't speak to Spurs in August is surely not true.
Look, what happened - happened. Everyone knows the club mugged themselves off and that no amount of PR bullshit statements could possibly blind people to the truth. Hence why Levy stayed away - and yes, I do understand that people like Ian McGarry are 'disappointed' as this would have allowed him and his fellow 'reporters' to question Levy.
As much as I would have enjoyed witnessing this - Levy isn't 'that' stupid and anyone who expected him to turn up is a fair bit naive.
The press conference was to announce Ramos as the new Spurs coach. Why allow the press to manipulate the situation and turn it into the anti-Levy ambush it probably deserves to be? This wasn't a day to ask Levy about Jol. If The Sun and whoever think its humiliating then that's exactly what they would have turned the occassion into if Levy had been there. Sour grapes.
The Sun is good for Keeley, nothing else.
