Spurs finally 'sign' a big name striker

Antonio Michael Pedroza Whitham.

What? It's a big name, isn't it? There's four of them and they're bundled together. A mish mash of Mexican and English. For a snappy £1M (insert little finger to corner of mouth).

Done and dusted. Delegation sent over to thrash out the deal. Allegedly. All this according to the Daily Mirror who apparently first 'broke' the story two weeks back. It's obviously true, so kids, save up your money...it's gonna cost your piggy bank to get his name printed on your shirt.

Okay, don't go blaming me for this article, it's gone midnight and I'm only as good as the material I have to work with and considering the ITK community have spent the summer thus far reacting to the press and making sh*t up I'm waiting for one of their esteemed members to lay claim that they saw this one coming to restore my faith in...oh wait, I have no faith in them.

Of course, the alternative is that the Daily Mirror are talking nonsense and this Mexican forward with family based in Cheshire is not on his way to N17. If the Daily Mirror prove themselves to be on the ball then it will officially mean: Daily Mirror > ITK Community

0 goals, 12 games apparently. Oh well.

Wickham, Whitham...not that much of a difference there. Well, apart from several million pounds.

The summer transfer window just keeps on giving.

Now there is no hope for the OS, the NDP is back on the official site. How surprising!

How can that be?

Surely the transport infrastructure isn't there.

What about the area, isn't it a complete toilet?

No corporate money will go there, will it?

The NDP was, is and always has been a goer. I'd pile the shame on the Stratfordites, but all is forgiven. Bring on the NDP!

Yep, mentioned this on ye olde twitter. NDP was not viable for as long as the OS was a possibility - which it never was.

get the 40% of the taarabt sale...sell some dead wood (hutton/keane) and unfortunately krankjar......then shove the lot on forlan/parker/and dare i say upson as cover (he is free for f'cks sake) - ie:give harry his last hurrah with his created team of pensioners and lets just enjoy the season ....we wont be a million miles from 4th and/or a cup......then we can worry about development of youth etc when the new man/set up is in next season - no point worrying about it now under harry cos he aint gonna risk on youngsters knowing the england manager pension is nearly his - we know what we are getting from harry this season..a guaranteed top 6 or upwards finish with some end to end footy and the possibility of more...................alternatively he gets a ten stretch for his tax dodgyness and we spend the next few months waiting for levy to turn up in spanish/french bars wearing suspect linen clothing talking via interpretor to our next management team.....

Levy has slapped down a royal flush in this mammoth poker game. He never had any intention of moving to Stratford.

He is my hero xxx

When Arry goes : Hope Powell. Why not ?

I'm semi-serious. Bawled out a f-wit 5Live sports reporter this morning in fine style.

She's turned the England womens team from a joke item into a team that isn't a joke any more.

Mind you, they could do with a couple of centre backs.

I've got a feeling Levy is about to drop the court case in the next few days. Victory! ;-)

Excellent, Colesy, just loved it. "suspect linen clothing" chortle, snort--hey, LOL is just so tired but your post was fresh and funny.

AVB might have been a good shout, but as he's from Foreignshire, he obviously wouldn't have spoken the lingo, and would have been the next Ramos.

He doesn't ignore youngsters, he plays them in the cups when he thinks they're ready, and if they're not he sends people out on loan to get them firing again. (Townsend, Parrett, Obika, Kane, Caulker, Button, Bostock, Smith, Mason) Some of these players were in the UEFA cup run he had in his first half season after Ramos got us into Europe. As it was our 3rd string team, almost got past Shaktar Donetsk, who are no pushovers.
Harry basically pumps you up and compliments you - 'fantastic player, fantastic kid' is used a lot, but if you let him down, you know about it... and if you show signs of being too big for your boots he'll loan you out or drop you without a second thought.
The players - including Modric are to blame for us finishing 5th instead of 4th or above... he missed some sitters as did Defoe, Crouch... some GLARING misses... Harry can't do a thing about those. I'm still 100% behind him.

For all you dos Santos doubters out there, he played a superb tournament. After destroying the likes of El Salvador, Cuba, Costa Rica, Guatemala AND Honduras, it is blatantly obvious his Godlike genius has been missed by almost everybody, apart from, apparently, those who "know what they're talking about".

555 - I'll assume you're leaning heavily towards sarcasm with that comment... as Harry was allegedly quoted as saying "If he (Dos Santos) could pass a Nightclub as well as he passes a ball he'd be a hell of a player."
I have no doubt he could still be a success at Spurs if he just decided he was going to concentrate 100% on training and pushing for the 1st team... the trouble is he's not done that since he got injured last time out, and was beginning to get selected by Harry on the left wing and doing really well... looking dangerous and hitting the post in one match I believe. Modric was injured and he had his chance.. then injury knocked him sideways.
